Sacul, your theme will be that a brass instrument has to appear in the song. Hope that's not too hard.

I was thinking about how I could screw up for Lielow the most...

In the end I went with something that could be easy or could be hard, it depends. Lielow @ send a song with vocals in another language than English. (I'm guessing most of the popular ones have already been heard by Lolzeez, so could be a challenge) :P

Oops, I didn't realize that I was supposed to be giving scorpion a theme... Sorry about that dude. Not going to make this difficult because I slacked big time so let's go with a good German metal song. Lyrics must be in German.

Round 5 Results!

Tyrias (Power Metal):Kamelot - Memento Mori

This was….okay! The orchestration wasn’t too over the top. The lyrics were still corny but didn’t quite make me cringe. The instrumentation wasn’t too overly flashy and everything. Okay this is for sure more than a 0/10. 7.5/10

Lucien (Written after 1970,no classical):Blue Man Group - Klein Mandelbrot

Pretty cool for what it is. The percussion is really nice and the song wasn’t relying too heavily on the band’s gimmick. Legit surprised with this one. But yeah this is probably 10 times better live. It was a decent Experimental Rock song even though it got a bit stale towards the end. 7/10

Onno (Dutch or German lyrics):Franz Schubert - Der Liermann

Wasn’t too impressed with this one. The concept is really cool and all but i wasn’t too huge on the vocals too. It was just kind of a pain to listen to more than once. Still,I really liked to concept so i’ll still give a 5.5/10

Tom Bombadil (open round):Sting - St Augustine In Hell

Bleh,I’m not a fan of Sting. Sure couple of his singles are enjoyable and I used to love his stuff when I was like 5 but it doesn’t have the same impact anymore.I thought it was a pretty average song. 4/10

Sacul (Brass Instruments):Ulver - Lost In Moments

Looks like someone was stalking my wishlists! :D But yeah I’ve been wanting to hear this album for a while and I’ll just listen to it asap after listening to this amazing song. The brass did indeed elevate this song. I really love Ulver’s Black Metal years and consider Bergtatt to be my favorite “proper” Black Metal album (Maybe behind Filosofem) Also this sounds like the soundtrack of some very futuristic movie set in Tokyo,it’s really haunting. It’s really damn good. Fuck it,have a 9/10

LieLowTheWantedMan (Another Language):Kaizers Orchestra - Ompa Til Du Dor

A gypsy punk band, kinda cool but it got stale pretty quick. Finally you sent a song that I don’t love! :D But yeah this was like 2 minutes too long. I found the lyrics, they’re kinda cool so bonus points there. But the song itself was just barely above average. 5.5/10

Rattlehead (World Music): Zakir Hussain & Shiv Kumar Sharma - Teental

Okay this just faded in the back ground. I had a straight face during the whole thing. It reminded me of Shakti but Shakti is way more intense and…less boring. Just wasn’t my thing I suppose. 3/10

Zantera(Song Without A Chorus): Ride - Cool Your Boots
I just bought this album yesterday! :D But yeah I’m a bit too late to the Ride party. These guys are REALLY good! I’ve been really diving deep into shoegaze lately so it was about damn time I heard this album. This was one of my favorite songs so nice pick! I really love the sound of the guitar. It sounds like a cross between Slowdive and MBV and the main chord progression is really great. Just a stellar song from an underrated album. Not much to say about this one besides that it’s fucking awesome. And yes, that outro is fucking amazing. 9/10

Scorpion(German lyrics):Rammstein - Stein Um Stein

This was actually damn good. I’m not too huge on these guys but the industrial elements worked really well on this track. The guitar riffing is great and that keyboard is fucking badass and I don’t usually say that for keyboards. Quite solid,i’ll give these guys another shot sometime. 8/10

Rankings!

Zantera - 41.5
LieLowTheWantedMan - 41.5
Onno - 37.5
Scorpion - 37
Tyrias - 36
Sacul - 32.5
Rattlehead - 32
Lucien - 31
Tom Bombadil - 26.5

Oh man! Shit’s getting really heated,it looks like Zantera might actually take over the throne! It’s time for another open round just to mix things up a bit.

Well, given you predicted me a 0/10 I guess 7,5 isn't too shabby :). I'd personally rate it higher, not a perfect 10 but around 9-ish. Also, this is my favourite Power Metal album of all time.

Round 6 Results!

Scorpion: Anita Belle - Belle Ciao

See this is a song people play on the accordion on the streets of Istanbul every single fucking second. And I’m so fucking sick of it. It’s not that bad of a song really but just hearing this every single day of my life has made it just unlistenable. 3/10

Onno: Snarky Puppy - The Curtain

Eh,this was kinda boring. Some of the sounds were just plain annoying and it just felt kinda overblown. There were some good melodies around though and kinda made the 14 minute long trip worth it. It was a mess but kinda had a charm to it. 6/10

Tyrias: The Clint Mansell - Death Is The Road To Awe (The Fountain OST)

This was a pretty cool movie and the soundtrack was a highlight for sure! Performed by Kronos Quartet and Mogwai, the OST for The Fountain is a really good soundtrack. Really dramatic and sad with a ton of emotion but not too much that it becomes cheesy. I would kinda turn this down but i’ll let it pass since I haven’t really listened to the OST from front to back. I do remember this one though. 8/10

Sacul: Blue Sky Black Death - The Era When We Sang

Okay this is really damn cool,I checked out one of Blue Sky’s projects couple years back and wasn’t too impressed but this is really really good. I really love the calmer section with that great build-up and the guitar going on in the back. The vocal samples are also quite good. Just a damn well made Instrumental Hip Hop track! I’m not even sure if this is hip hop anymore,it’s so damn pretty. 9/10

Lucien: Polyphia - Aviator

Is this Helix Nebula by Anamanaguchi? It sounds a ton like it. :D But yes,a bunch of math rock/djent-y wankery over here. But that main melody and the solos are actually damn sweet.  This was still cheesy but I actually really liked the melodies and it was probably the catchiest song of the round. Just four good looking guys who are good at playing their instruments. (wait what) 8.5/10

Rattlehead: Pelican - The Creeper

Holy shit that’s a heavy intro. The song starts huge. The riffs the guitars and the drumming all sounds very powerful and the mixing is quite nice. The riff changes couple minutes in and there is some really nice lead work going on and then it kinda slows down again and just ends. It was a nice doomy song but was a bit too repetitive. I’m not too huge on Doom Metal but I did like this. 7.5/10

LieLowTheWantedMan: Dads - Shit Twins

Okay,a midwest emo song. You know my weakness when it comes to sad midwest emo. I fucking love this music,it feels so sincere but not whiny and just lifts my mood up. Again, this is a very sad song yet so beautiful. The instrumentation is nothing amazing but the “whiny” vocals and the lyrics just elevate this song. I’ve been meaning to check out these guys for a while and i guess now is a good time. 8.5/!0

Tom Bombadil: Soen - Delanda

I listened to their second album that came out last year and was quite impressed. This sounds a bit more like a poor man’s Tool though. The bass sound, the calmer vocals and the song structure all reminds me of Tool. But holy fuck does Lopez’s drumming make this 10 times better. He’s one of my favorite current drummers and his grooves are just tasty. Soen got way better with their second album and i am looking forward to their third album which will probably be their best work. 7.5/10

Zantera: Low Roar - I’m Leaving

Okay, this was some pretty stuff. The melodies, the Thom Yorke-ish vocals and the beautiful instrumentation just made this one of the biggest surprises of the roulette so far. I also loved the Sigur Ros-ish vibes going on. I really hope this was an album closer cause it sounds just perfect. A minor problem was that the outro was a bit overly long. But besides that, this is a nice find! 8.5/10

Rankings!

Zantera - 50
LieLowTheWantedMan - 50
Tyrias - 44
Onno - 43.5
Sacul - 41.5
Scorpion - 40
Rattlehead - 39.5
Lucien - 39.5
Tom Bombadil - 34

Solid round for everyone but Scorpion, sorry man I just hate the living shit out of that song since I hear it every fucking second. (I heard it like an hour ago) Also,Zantera and LieLow are still tied. Damn. Okay next round shall be an all out metal round. I've been getting out of metal recently as I have noticed and want to get back in with some brand new bands. Hit me up!

Nice! That album is one of my fav new discoveries. Although long, it never gets boring. I wished I knew more instrumental hip-hop albums.
