Hey how long do these usually take? I am hoping to start mine sometime in mid-December.  I hope I'm not just dreaming lol
There is a 0% chance you will be able to start mid-December, I'm afraid.

Congrats to Seneca for his recent win, and now tie for 1st (though RJ is likely still burning over that 1/2 point loss to Brent).

Suggestion... for those on the sign-up list, perhaps offer the timeframe that you'll be ready/wanting to go?  I know wolfking has suggested Feb/Mar as his go-time.  Maybe the others could offer their timeframes, that way there's a bit of a better idea as to who's gonna go when.  Sacul, Bolsters and Evermind already went a few months ago, so it's unlikely they'll want to fire another one up so soon (as evidenced by Sacul and Evermind putting themselves on hold.

Just a thought.

Thanks, boy. It feels like I haven't won in a long time. Seems like most of them came in a two month stretch, without any wins since then despite coming close in a couple. Hopefully this'll start me on another little streak.

I started at February 2015, and I'm aiming at running another one at February (or maybe later) 2016, to give it at least a year, but after that I won't be hosting my v3 for a few years or so.

I like the timeframes idea though.

If I can pass some exams soon, then I'd like to run mine around January. I could actually start mid-December if everything goes fine, but then we'd have holidays/Christmas and nobody would send for like a week, so... :lol

Still gotta pick em..................sometimes too many options is worse than just enough.   Case in point - I won 2 of my last 4 or 5 (not confident on Chad's) roulettes and the two I won were the ones I was not confident about leading up and probably had fewer options to choose from.

Damn.  :lol

Inrelation to mine, it will definitely not be Feb.  I have a couple of staff moving on around that time which means more work for me towards the end of season.  March/April looks like it, probably even April unfortunately. I want to make sure I am able to invest lots of time in this and do it properly.

I'll definitely be desperately joining all the roulettes until I find someone whose musical tastes align with mine.
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

Slowest.  Group.  Of.  Roulettes.

2+ months and we have:
Bizkit - 4 rounds complete (current round - 2 weeks old)
Bombadil - 5 rounds complete (current round - 2 weeks old)
Train - 7 rounds complete (this is a decent pace)

Hopefully now that the holidays are over, the pace will pick up (though not all of the slowness can be blamed on the holidays).

C'mon guys.

Yeah I've been saying this too, I shouldn't have done a 10 round roulette in the first place. While I personally think I'm doing my part at a decent pace like you said, I've been a bit too loosy, so even if I deliver results within 2-3 days after I've gotten all my songs, it's a decently slow pace.

To be fair the previous batch of roulettes were smokin'  - things may seem worse than they are for that reason  ;D

Bombadil - 5 rounds complete (current round - 2 weeks old)
Train - 7 rounds complete (this is a decent pace)

Hopefully now that the holidays are over, the pace will pick up (though not all of the slowness can be blamed on the holidays).

C'mon guys.
Concessions were allowed for the holiday season. Train hasn't been doing too bad and while both Tom and Bizkit have slowed dramatically, Tom at least was actually going at a reasonable pace before mid-december.

Tom's roulette:
- Start date October 28
- Round 1 results November 6 (8 days, acceptable for the first round since they can be a touch longer waiting for people to sign up etc)
- Round 2 results November 15 (9 days, barely acceptable but pushing it)
- Round 3 results November 23 (8 days, barely acceptable)
- Round 4 results December 2 (9 days, barely acceptable but pushing it)
- Round 5 results December 13 (11 days, pushing it more but it's December now, I'll consider this tolerable)
- Round 6 results December 24 (11 days again, tolerable for the time of year)
- Round 7 results forthcoming (currently 14 days, too long but half of that was the end of December and New Years)

Therefore I'm not concerned about Tom's pace just yet. I think he's fine...for now. I was optimistic he could pick it back up himself without me breathing down his neck about it.

Bizkit:
- Start date November 3
- Round 1 results November 12 (9 days, acceptable for the first round)
- Round 2 results November 24 (12 days, yeah this is too much)
- Round 3 results December 7 (13 days, again too much but it's getting into the holiday season. any other time of year unacceptable)
- Round 4 results December 25 (18 days which is unacceptable., but no comment made because of the time of year)
- Round 5 results forthcoming (14 days and counting, pushing it again but half of it was Christmas/New Years)

Verdict: I am concerned about the poor pace of Bizkit's roulette, but I didn't want to be telling peope to speed up during the Christmas/New Year period. Especially because I have literally jack shit to do during this particular time of year, and I can't really empathise with people who do. But if you're reading this dude, you need to start getting your shit together - no more concessions if you're being tardy now, and I do have concerns given the pace of your roulette thus far.
