I'm not sure if this has ever been done on here before, but I figured we could give it a shot.  Basically we just go through the alphabet and name a band for each letter. When we get to Z, we start all over with A without using a previously mentioned band.  I'll start

Asia

Blue Oyster Cult
I can't stop the world from turning around, or the pull of the moon on the tide, but I don't believe that we're in this alone, I believe we're along for the ride...

You don't quote people you just post a band for the next letter

Why?
Because you're doing it wrong!

Just take the next damn letter and post a band with that letter!

Read the thread and see how its done.  Then do likewise.

Calm down!

I was late joining in, and wanted to include the names of bands that I THOUGHT of.

This thread doesn't.

Why is it that no one in this thread is having a problem except you?

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
