I'm glad you didn't spoil the surprise. Somebody fucked up at basic research. :lol
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

When I saw the "like" bar, I knew I was in for a rough ride.  Heavy metal fans usually know what they're talking about when it comes to their musicians.  But I braced myself and watched it anyway.

#5 - Mike Mangini
#4 - Clive Burr

Number 1 is pretty disappointing IMO.  Obviously a popularity contest.  I prefer a lot of the honourable mentions to be honest.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

I'm not even a fan of Maiden, but isn't the song at around eight minutes which is labelled Run to the Hills actually The Trooper?

I also loved the comment about Lars' fast beats, while he plays... For Whom the Bell Tolls.

Yeah, I don't know who they get for any of their lists, but all of the ones I have watched (this being the first music related one) have been craptacular.  Since I have no desire to watch, could someone post the list?

their lists are often a combination of the users on their website https://watchmojo.com votes in the polls, and what the people who run their site/co decide.

They generally are not great, but worth a look just for curiosity sake, and I enjoy posting comments about how poor the results are or what's missing and what shouldn't be included that was.

They did a top 10 (+HM) video of Under rated guitarists yesterday.

Vinnie Paul at #10 I was willing to let slide, but Jordison at #9 was a sure sign that I should stop watching.

I also loved the comment about Lars' fast beats, while he plays... For Whom the Bell Tolls.

They did the same thing with Vinnie Paul, almost every drum beat was a slight variation on Rock Beat #1 & #2.  They didn't even play Domination.  Fail.

For the first few minutes, I was thinking, "This is not too bad. There are some good (and some not-so-good) picks." Then I got to the DT entry.  :lol
Only a prog fan would try to measure how much they enjoy a song by an equation. :lol

Yeah, there's so many things wrong with this list.  Ulrich shouldn't even be on it.  To be honest, though, he not as bad as people say he is.  I mean, he played Dyers' Eve.  The average drummer couldn't do the hardest Metallica songs.  So I do think he's above average, but nowhere near top 10.

Joey Jordison is overrated beyond belief.  He's fast, but that's it.  The Rev should have been up higher...as much as I don't like the band, he really was an amazing drummer.  Mike Portnoy should have been number 1 and I'm not just saying that because I love Dream Theater.  Also, where's Gar Samuelson?

This list is hilarious. I'm surprised Travis Barker wasn't on it.

Also, "we didn't include Led Zeppelin because we consider them Classic Hard Rock" Then they include the drummer from Van Halen who are a classic hard rock band...

I had the same thought as well. It's scary how clueless they seem to be.

I have never heard of WatchMojo.  Are they important?

They do Top 10 lists for just about anything and everything. They are not experts in any field, and I don't think they pretend to be either. They generally make moderately entertaining videos though. This one seemed abnormally bad.
