Damn.  $3,000?!  He actually sold one of these on eBay about 10 years ago... don't remember what it went for back then, but I don't think it was anywhere near $3,000.00.

I wonder how many more he has... the one he sold off years ago was the one awarded to the Studio.  Sounds like this was a separate one that he got for playing on the record.

That would be my guess.  Maybe it went for so much since it was his personally?
