Sorry guys, just been busy.  I guess you guys already went ahead?  It's all good, I'll just post what I think of Load/ReLoad.

For Load, the ony songs I really care for are:

1. Ain't My Bitch- Amazing song, easily the best on both albums, in my opinion.
2. King Nothing- Also a great song.
3. Wasting My Hate- Awesome riffs.
4. Until It Sleeps- Pretty good one here.


For ReLoad, only Carpe Diem Baby, The Unforgiven II, Fuel, Memory Remains and bad Seed are worth it.  They're both still way better than St. Anger, though.

Also, just to keep this thing rolling, I guess I'll start St. Anger.  I don't feel I even need to do a write up.  The only song I even enjoy at all is Frantic.  The rest of the album I can't stand.  Honestly, though, IF they changed the sound of the drums and IF they added guitar solos, then this album could have been MUCH better, because the songs themselves aren't...that bad.  But those two things really ruin it for me.

The only songs that I thought was "all right" was Frantic, Some Kind of Monster, and St. Anger.  The rest were a bit of a drag to listen to in full and Lars' drum sound did not make it any easier to try to enjoy them.

Happy with both of these. Last three ranked songs on both are all throwaways for me. I tend to really like Invisible Kid and above on St. Anger tho. I have no problem with the sound, necessarily, but it wouldn't have hurt if they tried lol. Top 3 on Reload are fantastic. The rest are kind of just, "okay."

I even bought Beyond Magnetic on CD ! It's not terrible. The quality is better than DM. But they were left off the album for 4 very good reasons.

1. Unforgiven 2 - Hey I prefer it ok ? I actually owned Reload way before I owned Metallica so I loved that song.

2. Unforgiven 1 - A very close second - possibly joint first.

3. Unforgiven III - Just cack.

Death Magnetic- What an amazing comebcack album.  Sure, James' voice isn't what it used to be, but that's the only complaint.  This album is easily one of my favorites.  Yes, I even like it better than MoP.  Album Ranking: 3/10

10. Suicide and Redemption- One of their weakest instrumentals.  It's just too long and doesn't do much for me.

9. The Unforgiven III- The weakest in the trilogy.  It's ok, but could have been so much more.

8. The End of the Line- Not a bad song, but just gets outshined by the rest of the album.

7. My Apocalypse- Great thrash song here, but nothing special.

6. That Was Just Your Life- When I first heard this song, I knew this album was going to be special.

5. Cyanide- Great mid paced thrash song here.  So catchy and awesome.

4. All Nightmare Long- Used to be my favorite, but I've listened to it too much when it came out, it lost a little bit of its initial appeal.

3. Broken, Beat and Scarred- Such a badass song here.  I love the lyrics and the intensity of this one.  So awesome.

2. The Day That Never Comes- The third best ballad they have ever done.  Fantastic song from beginning to end.

1. The Judas Kiss- I'm obsessed with this song.  It's thrashy, but also has prog elements and I love it.  Feels like it would fit very well on "Justice".

I think I really only like That Was Just Your Life (even tho the verse riff apes Blackened's bridge) and TDTNC (even though it totally apes the structure of One).  The rest of it is meh, paint by numbers Metallica.

I actually think this is a great album, and I like all 10 songs. S&R is easily my favorite instrumental, and has been ever since I watched it's live debut on the Copenhagen Fan Can Bluray. They were on FIRE for this performance. Gave me new appreciation for the song.

I've decided to do Megadeth now, my favorite band of all time.  Everyone feel free to jump in.  Anyway, let's get started.

Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good: Overall, this album is NOT one of my favorites.  Kill 'Em All is 100 times better.  There's a few good songs here, but the sound is too muddy and the song writing is way too amateurish for me to take seriously.  It's not the worst album by Megadeth, but it's down there.  Album Ranking: 14/15

8. These Boots- What were they thinking?  Terrible song to begin with, still a terrible song.  The Remastered Version makes it lterally unlistenable due to copyright issues.  Ugh...i can't stand this one.

7. Rattlehead- Cool riff, not much else.  It's boring overall and doesn't do aything for me.  Skip.

6. Killing is My Businness- The ending is the only thing I like.  Everything else is muddled, generic and boring.

5. Looking Down the Cross- The intro is pure awesome, but sadly, the song falls flat from there.

4. Chosen Ones- Decent catchy song, but doesn't do a whole lot for me.

3. The Skull Beneath the Skin- Finally, a song I actively listen to.  This song is awesome, even if the first 2 minutes are the highlight.

2. Last Rites...Loved to Deth- What an awesome song here.  This album starts perfectly, too bad it's mostly downhill from here.

1. Mechanix- Easily the best on the album.  This is classic Megadeth right here.  Not as good as The Four Horsemen, but still an amazing song, nonetheless.

Looking Down The Cross and Skull Beneath The Skin are the only tracks I really listen to off this one.  Good song.
