I was listening to the soundtrack today and I was trying to figure out why I love this part so much. Then it hit me... this sounds like Dream Theater lol.

I literally watched this scene like 3 days ago and didn't even pay attention to the music xD I guess that keyboard line could be seen as similar.

I can only surmise that you didn't grow up in the 80s, and thus anything with keyboards like that sounds the same to you :lol

LOL. Well, I can see where the OP is coming from. But I don't know if I'd associate with DT, it just makes me think 80s synth. And generally puts a smile on my face when I hear stuff like that in movies because you just don't see (hear?) that kinda thing anymore.  :rollin

Yeah, it's definitely a product of its time. :lol But for a lower budget movie scifi from the mid '80s about a killer robot, it worked.
