That's fantastic.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I have a friend who goes all out for Halloween decorating his yard, and this year I was able to hook him up with a casket to add to things, and he's making some modifications and I'm really excited to see what he does with it.

Won't actually be doing anything tonight, though my city is doing its trick or treat tonight. Tomorrow I start the day with a 5+ mile hike, which will make me not feel bad for all I will eat and drink tomorrow night when I go to aforementioned friends house for a halloween party. The GF crocheted two custom hats, and we will be dressing in all grey and all tan and going as the Llamas With Hats.

For those unfamiliar, thank me later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zB92yoK242s

Our general routine is park at a nice Italian restaurant downtown, trick or treat with the kids in that vicinity, then come back to the restaurant for dinner.  And since Halloween is on a Friday this year, probably horror movies afterwards.

My eldest doesn't trick or treat anymore, but she is working in a local haunted house/trail this year getting paid to scare the hell out of people, so she will be with us in spirit.

Thanks! You know, it's been rather disturbing the number of people who don't recognize where it is from. My younger sister (only by 6 years though) didn't even ts recognize the tune when I sent her the link.

I can totally see how one can not recognize the character. One has to have been around in the 80s to have seen the video.
But, my 34-yo sister had never heard the song. That made me a sad panda.

It took me a minute.  I knew I recognized it, but it didn't click until I read the "I want my MTV" caption.

I don't like trick or treaters. I hand them a flaming bag of excrement and say "Here are all your dreams, watch them burn." Then I laugh!

Neat.

We didn't see anything quite THAT extravagant, but we saw a few homes nicely tricked out for the occasion.
