Shit, now this is ruined for me. 

Just don't spoil the end of Images & Words for me.  Haven't finished that one yet.

Pull Me Under has a nice fade out.

Even though I implied I didn't want spoilers, this is good to know.  My download of Raw Dog cuts off abruptly and I had to redownload it two dozen times (to the tune of almost $14!)  but I could never manage a concise ending.  Thus, I am looking forward to hearing a pleasant fade to allow me to prepare for the soulful ride that is Another Day.

This. We most definitely know he kills him. Obviously it was done to show the cycle repeating, but OP does bring up a good question as to what incentive would the current life have to do this? I always wondered the same thing, but I don't think there's a definite answer, I think it's just mysterious and cool.

Though maybe the therapist wants to have a new paying customer when 20 years later Nicholas's reincarnation starts having the dreams 

How do we know Nicolas was killed? Maybe the therapist was wearing a mask and scared the shit out of him.

Well, the therapist aims a gun at Nicholas at the end of LSFNY. Maybe he considered becoming the rapist and reconnect with Victoria , but decided against it for some reason. The question is if we can be sure the gunshot was lethal. It might have critically wounded Nicholas, maybe there was a coma and some memory loss, but he may have survived. And Nicholas who used to be called Nikki by his childhood friends slowly wakes up in a hospital bed, drug cocktail induced delusional state, machines beeping, "Dr. Blair, Dr. Blair, Dr. J. Hamilton, Dr. J. Hamilton", and his first words are: "I remember now, I remember how it started, I can't remember yesterday, I just remember doing what they told me..."

Maybe we'll never know.
