Okay everyone, here is the first round of the new Flying Colors Survivor! It will be up for THREE days, just so everyone here has a chance to see it and vote! I'll be notifying people in the FC thread about it as well. After this round, rounds will be 2-days each with single-song eliminations. If you haven't listened to the band's debut album in awhile, you've got a couple days to dig into it and refresh yourself!

-Marc.

Shoulda Coulda Woulda isn't great, but All Falls Down is worse.

All Falls Down is actually one of my favorites on the album.  But yeah, I'm fully expecting it to be eliminated early.  My money is on another horse.
Sincerely,
Jaffa

All Falls Down. That "metal" style isn't right for this band, imo.

Nihil-Morari is generally considered the resident Zappa person.

Fool In My Heart by a fair way.

Shoulda Coulda is one of my favourites. :(

My main problem with Shoulda Coulda Woulda is that the coda goes on a bit too long. With a riff so short, there's only so many repeats of it that one can deal with before it gets tedious. Should've perhaps finished 30 seconds earlier.

Better Than Walking Away. Really just an unmemorable track for me.

All Falls Down is probably gonna get booted real soon, but fuck it, that's probably one of the better songs the debut has to offer. :lol

It is a great track. Love casey's vocals and the energy fits the title.

I chose Love Is What I'm Waiting For, the rhythm reminds me of Short People

You know what you are talking about man.  All of this.  Never understood the hate for SWC.  All Falls Down is a fav of mine too.  Fool is by far the weakest.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

Fool In My Heart for me.

To people who voted SCW, what makes it weaker than say Fool or Better?  I just don't get it.

Gonna get hate for it, but the 9 middle tracks are my cup of tea from this band. Never got into Infinite Fire as much as the other songs.
I don't want MP playing with DT unless they were making a drummer change. If they let MM go and bring back MP, then fine, but no guest appearance please.

Ugly vocal melodies.

Better Than Walking Away is a gorgeous tune.

Fool in My Heart is a nicely-written song (although Portnoy on lead vocals brings it down a bit).
