  • What a hell of a day to embrace disorder
I figured when I saw complaints about "Labrock" that it would have to be LeBrock. :lol

I can't even remember - did I put you onto them and did you like it?

I'm not sure if they're one I got from you or that I found on Bandcamp. But I do like.

haha nice Brent.

The Labrock sounds quite interesting.

it's interesting to me in that it doesn't sound like a modern band trying and failing to recreate that era - it literally sounds like it's from that era.  Having grown up during that time I find it pretty cool to be transported back in time like that even if the music isn't my normal style.  After you listen to it you might want to go and put on Top Gun or something :lol

They might be named after Kelly LeBrock :lol

I don't think I've ever sat down and watched Top Gun from beginning to end.

Yeah I did - linked them in the same PM as the kerrang stuff.  Glad you like  :)

I'm about halfway through.

Omnium Gatherum  :metal   Although that track sounded like a bad mp3.

I did wonder about that ........I have the album in 320 and like most recent releases it's rather muddy , but that track seems worse.  Wasn't sure if it was the file or not.

it has to be a bad file.  Just listened to the file I ripped to my PC and it definitely doesn't sound like that.
Winger would be better!

Downloading the podcast now.   :metal

Also, just wanted to pimp the new Firewind album.  It's fucking blistering and I can't stop listening to it, fast becoming one of my favourites.

I liked the tune that was before Dare.

Oh, and also confirmed, Dream Theater in the Top 40!

I didn't know The Doobie Brothers released an album this year!
:neverusethis:

The instrumental after The Doobies was awesome though. It totally ripped!

Growls are always called for.  Nice to see Brent throw some growls in there.

Ben has started a new daily thing this week.  Every night after he gets out of the bath he does some mohawk hairstyle and calls me in to video him doing a line from a rock/metal song :lol

I won't leave the link here for long but some of you guys might get a kick out of this  :lol

:rollin 30 seconds into this podcast and Tim gets Wingerzingged!!!!

Don't remember requesting Ghostlights Brent, but I'll take it.  Top 5 album for me that one.

That Wonderworld was solid, as was the Wolverine, which I still need to check out after Mason sending them to me.

Good stuff so far.
