I think it was just a matter of time that this new djent-pop band had it's own thread. I know David has it's own thread here, but it's been really inactive and just a few guys here know his stuff, so I propose this thread shall be both for his solo stuff and for his band.

I will start saying I might be his biggest fan ever, because I have all his stuff on my top 50 and, well, love everything he has released. Now he's working on Bilo 4.0, and the thing is that I don't know how will he manage to even top 3.0. I mean, that album is insane, as all his stuff, but there's no way he will ever make something as great as that. Let's see if he can shut me the fuck up next year  .

So guys, what do you think of this female-fronted band?

I like 'em. I need to listen to their album more. I remember my favourites being Lunatic and House of Lies, but I liked everything a lot.

Re-listening now. Man I forgot how good The Build Up was.

Potatoes!!
Thank you for 50K views on our D.I.Y. Lyric Video for 'Love Song'!!   :heart
We'll start working on our first professional/official video in October, so keep your fingers crossed for a good one!!  :)

Potate!!  :heart
I read they just invested little money on making the video for Love Song, and it looks damn good. What song do you think they'll choose? Either Take a Picture, Lunatic or Addict are amazing for some crazy music videos.

I'd say Lunatic. I love that breakdown, it's perfect.

I am currently working on a new song that NEEDS to be heavy, dark and complex as fuck. The problem is… I don't really feel like making anything complex atm, but for the sake of song's theme it really needs to be overcomplicated and stupid. I hate it… from the bottom of my heart I hate this fucking song… but it's not far from being finished   ;D
It sounds awesome tho, I'm really happy how the mix/master works on this one!!

The song is complex not because I want it to be, but because music itself wants to be complex, dark and heavy. Sometimes you just have to let the music speak for itself, let the music make the statement. I might hate this song from the bottom of my heart because I find it hard to articulate as I am in a pretty happy place with my life right now. But my 'EGO' is slowly becoming addicted to this song and it starts to enjoy it  :heart

It's been 1 years since the release of 'BILO 3.0'  ;D
So many awesome things happened since I started BILO series, and  when I think that 'BILO 4.0' is gong to be the last one in the series, makes me pretty nostalgic. But there's a new chapter waiting for me after I finish with this wonderful journey I started in 2011   ;D
With that being said, I've been working on a new concept release I'll be able to announce really soon, and soon after that I will continue working on BILO 4.0 which will be out in November 2015 if not sooner!  :)  Thank you everyone for the amazing support,
It's always going to be MUSIC FOR THE SAKE OF MUSIC!!
 fab!  :heart

I really love Bilo 3.0 (it made my top 10 :P ) and the hype couldn't be higher for me. I just hope he finds the time to start with the next Destiny Potato album.

I'm glad he's doing so much stuff because the majority of it is great but I think he needs to focus on one thing or another soon. He's far less recognized as he should be and it might benefit if he were to put more focus on one project or another. His solo work is excellent but it's all been in EP form and Destiny Potato hung in limbo for a long while and kind of fell apart before it could get a proper release (it was pretty much done and then one of the female singers left and they went back in and re-recorded stuff).

Just seems scattered a bit. Hoping the best for the guy cause I think he's an exceptional artist and I imagine I'll love the next batch of work as much as the rest.

Check this artist and band out if you haven't folks, great stuff!~

Yeah, I think he's just focusing on his solo stuff by now, while giving some gigs from time to time. His concept project and Bilo 4.0 are my most expected albums for next year, along with new Wilson and Haken. Here's an interview he did, talking about Destiny Potato (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vC6SX54IupU) and other stuff. I really hope he gets time to start with a new DP album, as him and Alex have lots of talent.

It looks like Aleksandra Djelmash is going to release her debut EP! And this is the first single - it's like a mix of pop with post-rock guitars, quite cool. So we'll have a new David solo album (not Bilo 4.0, but a conceptual work) and something from Alex this same year - the hype has started :dangerwillrobinson:

I like EGO more and more each time I listen to it. It flows so good that it sounds like one single 20-minute epic.
I'm checking out the other EPs too. Cool stuff all around.

Just popped into my FB feed that his next ep will go live on Aug 16, called Eco. Some interesting guest stars with Haken guitarist Richard Henshal and Omega Experiment vocalist Dan Weiten.

ECO came out today.
Wow, once again a great album. More ambient/electronic music oriented than the other releases, it feels different and definitely more peaceful than EGO.

Oh definitely, and I think David nailed the concept of these two releases: the dark, heavy EGO, and the light, melodic ECO. So from now on I'll listen to both in one sit. David hasn't disappointed yet  :hefdaddy

Good music on ECO, but I'm a bit thrown off by the vocals. The guy on Satellite has that metal singer sound I just don't like at all, and the girl who sang The Flock was just weird. The chick on Stardust was good though.

I don't have a problem with the vocalists, but I have to say that the vocal melodies just aren't as good as in Destiny Potato. Although there's some good stuff in Stardust.

Still, the music on both EPs is really good.

Yeah, David and Alex have a great ear for catchy vocal lines. And the ones on ECO were written by their respective singers, that's why they might not be that great.

Makes sense. Yeah the melodies in Destiny Potato are absurdly catchy!

The guest solos on the EP from Hen and Plini are really awesome.

Glad to see more catching onto David's material!  :tup

Out of the two most recent releases Ego and Eco, I think I prefer Eco at the moment. Of course that could change easily. As always with me, I would have liked to see him inject a little more guitar into these newer releases but I get what he was going for. I just think it's obvious his thing is guitar but he's a great composer and I know that he likely wants to kind of showcase that too.
