2013 Survivor: https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=38799.0

Choose a team that you think will win their Week 1 game.

If your team wins, you move on to the next Week. If your team loses, you're eliminated.

You must choose a different team each week. Once you choose a team, you may no longer use them for the rest of the Survivor.

Your team must win the game, ties are considered a loss.

You must submit your pick before the kickoff of the game that you're choosing. So the latest that you can pick is just before kickoff for the Monday Night Game (or the late MNF game in Week 1).

Here is the list of games for Week 1 Choose wisely.

(All times EST)

Thursday, Sept. 4
Packers at Seahawks, 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 7

Saints at Falcons, 1 p.m.
Vikings at Rams, 1 p.m.
Browns at Steelers, 1 p.m.
Jaguars at Eagles, 1 p.m.
Raiders at Jets, 1 p.m.
Bengals at Ravens, 1 p.m.
Bills at Bears, 1 p.m.
Redskins at Texans, 1 p.m.
Titans at Chiefs, 1 p.m.
Patriots at Dolphins, 1 p.m.
Panthers at Buccaneers, 4:25 p.m.
49ers at Cowboys, 4:25 p.m.
Colts at Broncos, 8:30 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 8
Giants at Lions, 7:10 p.m.
Chargers at Cardinals, 10:20 p.m.

I'm in.  Some tough looking matchups.  Think I know who I'm going with, but will vote next week.  I certainly can't do any worse than last year!  :jets:

Bound and determined to make it past week 1.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Steelers

If you're picking the Steelers, I'm picking Cinci.  We can both go out in round 1 again.  :jets:

Kidding.  I'm likely going with the Eagles.  I'll edit this post if I change my mind.

Well, it's only week 1.  Looking at some of the other games I was thinking about picking, most could go either way at this point.  NE @ MIA?  JAX @ PHI?  CLE @ PIT?  NO @ ATL?  Just a few examples.  Week 1 is turning out to be a crap shoot.

Wow... lots of close ones.  If the Browns could've pulled it off, that would've eliminated over half the people here with the Bills win.  Eagles made it interesting 'til they finally showed up in the 2nd half.

To those who haven't picked a team yet, you have another 20ish minutes to pick either Indy or Denver, or you can pick one of the four teams playing tomorrow night before that team's game starts.

With all due respect to the posters here who picked the Bears, that is what you get for taking a team with Jay Cutler in a survivor pool in Week 1.

I'll guess I'll jump in and take the Lions tonight (which is probably just as goofy as taking the Bears. :lol

Ahh... following the ABC strategy - Anyone But Cleveland.  I was considering it, but the thing is, it's unlikely they'll have an 0-for season, and you just never know when that victory will come.  Hell, even the Jags got 4 wins last year (and played shockingly well against Denver iirc).

This week also has some pretty tight matchups.
