I got that book from my MIL but haven't read it. I should add it to my queue. I am also ISTJ (if I recall correctly)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I saw the first movie before reading the book, then I proceeded to read the rest of the series, but I still hadn't read the first book. I am rectifying that. I'm sort of a completest that way

So, now I can finally say I have read the entire Harry Potter series, so here's how I would rank them:
1. Azkaban
2. Deathly Hallows
3. Prince
4. Phoenix
5. Goblet
6. Stone
7. Chamber

And now, time to take a break from YA and now reading Phantom by Susan Kay

Well I finished the final empire by Brandon Sanderson which I loved.

Then I read Casino Royale by Ian Fleming which I thought was ok.

Now I'm reading Wrestlecrap: The Very Worst of Pro Wrestling by R.D. Reynolds

Finished up Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah. Lukewarm about this one. At this point, there's quite a few continuity errors and down right plot holes that are unresolved. King himself has admitted to the continuity issues, as well as his desire to change one particular plot element that I think is about as stupid as they come (no spoilers, but if you've read the books you probably know what I'm talking about). Now I wish he had rewritten the series.I'm sure it's difficult to keep track of a story as long and complex as the Dark Tower, but it's still disappointing for me.

Either way, I'm committed now so I'll start in on Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower when I get home from work tonight. Regardless of how King decided to end this series, it's still been a good read through the first 6 books. Worth the time investment if you're into epic quest-style westerns, with a splash of horror (much less horror than I was expecting though, which was a nice surprise).

VI was a letdown for me as well, I hardly remember much from it, though it was years ago when I read it. VII definitely makes up for it and then some.

Yeah Parts 1 and 6 are my least favorite books in the dark tower series. Part VII was a good but imperfect end to the story.

So, while I have managed to read 9 books so far this month, I've had to abandon 3 books due to lack of interest

Anyway, now I'm reading City on Fire by Garth Risk Hallberg

Finished up Dark Tower last week, so i decided to re-read Christopher Moore's Lamb: The gospel according to Biff, Christ's childhood friend. Nice easy read following the 5-8k pages that make up the Dark Tower series.

Now I'm reading Night Passage by Robert B. Parker. The  in-law lent it to me since I like the Jack Reacher books. About 1/2 done, and it's been decent so far.

Well, I just finished my first bad read of 2017. Avoid City on Fire, at all cost

Giving The Son by Philipp Meyer a try. This has been on my radar for a while, but after seeing AMC is doing a series of this, I thought I'd finally give it a go. Seems like a more family epic of There Will Be Blood. Heck, even Pierce Brosnan looks a bit like DDL

I put House of Leaves on my library list to read soon.  I've had it on one list or another for a long time now since it always seemed like something I would lose interest in half way through, but I figure I'll give it a go soon.
