Put Stormlight on the shelf because a late Christmas gift showed up: Neil Peart's "Ghost Rider." Already several pages in, digging it big time.
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

Yesterday I started and today I finished "Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy: Advice from Rock's Ultimate Survivor". I thought it was an entertaining read for what it was, You don't really learn anything new that wasn't in I Am ozzy. Though his answers to peoples questions still contain a lot of his self deprecating that I really enjoyed from the first book and at times actually gives surprisingly decent responses.

Next I'm reading Watchers by Dean Koontz.

Oh and I forgot I also Finished Well of Ascension. I liked the beginning and I Loved the ending. The middle was dragged down by Vins inner struggles which I didn't hate as much as some people. She finally did come around but I can see why many people complain about it.

had my first DNF of the year already, which is a shame, because I really enjoyed The Fifth Season, but I just couldn't enjoy this one. The story was a bit too out there for my taste. Anyway, switching to non-fiction and reading P.T. Barnum's autobiography, The Life of P.T. Barnum, Written By Himself, because I really enjoyed The Greatest Showman and would actually like to read about his life

Currently just making myself get caught up on the backlog of homebrewing magazines from the last six months or so, but seeing all these commercials for the TV adaptation of The Alienist really has me wanting to go back and revisit that.

Still slogging through Oathbringer myself. It's kinda slow going.

Red Seas under Red Skies was my favorite of that trilogy. My son says I'm crazy, but for me, it was the most fun of them all.

I'm just over a hundred pages in, I love it so far. The sheer size of balls these guys have continues to astonish me. :lol

With this year being the centennial of the ending of World War I, I thought I would educate myself with some books on the subject, starting with The Guns of August by Barbara W. Tuchman
