I'd like to read that as well. Only thing I read (listened) other than seeing tv show was that audio book "Diane...". It's pretty cool, partly taken from the show, partly recorded just for the audio book.

I listened to that audio book as well. It was a neat idea, and seemed like they could have expanded it more.

TP fans should also read the Autobiography of Dale Cooper, My Life, My Tapes. It meanders a bit when he gets to the point in his life when he meets Windom Earle and Caroline, but overall a fun read with some interesting backstory on Dale's life.

Its really interesting. Its format is basically a dossier filled with documents, newspaper clippings, book excerpts, ect along with notes from the mysterious Archivist who put it together.  It doesn't focus on the main characters of the show as much as I was expecting, but when it does it goes into good detail about some of their backgrounds and Its nice to see what their lives were before where the show begins. Most of the books info stops shortly after where the show left it so most of the cliffhangers are still unresolved for the the new series to dig into. One of them was resolved though I wont say which one for those interested in it.

Started on a new book that came out last month called Only The Dead Know Burbank by Bradford Tatum. From what I'm gathering, it's about a German girl who gets turned to a vampire at the dawn of the 20th century, moves to Hollywood and has some dealings with creating the Universal monster flicks of the 20's and 30's

According to some fan theories and Mark Frost's recent Q&A, seems like the dossier was modified by someone - that could explain some consistency errors.

I wouldn't be surprised. Is anything really what it seems at first glance in Twin Peaks lol.

Only read the first chapter so far. You really need to read the last book though, Prince Lestat. It was really good!

I read Prince Lestat last year, mostly just to complete the series, and honestly I thought it was the worst book Rice has ever written.

Had my doubts about this book the first time, but once I picked it up...I couldn't stop reading it.

Maybe. I just thought the plot was poorly conceived, and Lestat's character was way over the top (even for him). It had a completely different feel than the rest of the chronicles.

If it's not sold out after December 15th, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to resist ordering this. I agree it's a bit too expensive (and shipping to Russia is another $36, I checked), but damn, I want to get it so much.

I purchased Girl on the Train for my vacation next week.  I haven't really read much at all lately.  It'll be nice to kick back and read a bit on the beach and relax.  I bought the book based on an amazon recommendation since I liked Gillian Flynn books like Gone Girl.

I have; it's gorgeous. I can't justify spending $100 on a book I already own, though, so tragically I will not be purchasing it.
