Wow, it is!  That was just a guess.  It's been a very long time.

Sigmund and the Sea Monsters was another Kroft production, the same guys who did H. R. Pufnstuf, Lidsville, and Land of the Lost.

One of Mike Portnoy's crazy side projects was Cygnus and the Sea Monsters, presumably named after this show but mashed up with Cygnus as in "Cygnus X-1".

First pictures of the year.  I'm sure I've posted pictures of me in the church choir before, but here's a new one.  Today was a combined service with us and the Korean congregation which shares our building.  Combined choirs, too.



I got to sing a solo today.  Two of 'em, actually, and another one next week.  Years ago, if you had told me I'd be a soloist in a church choir I've have called you insane.  I still don't think I'm that good, but others disagree, and they keep giving me solos.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Jackie's variation on the "prostate exam" is nicely displayed. The extra inward curl on the other fingers allows for maximum penetration which is especially threatening.
