here we go...

evey day of my school life, I am forced to sit around and listen to the "oh, i like____) "___ and ___ blank are going out" and I think its bull shit. Yiu can't like someone when you are 14 and having a girl friend is a staus symbol. I happen to believe that when I should finally "like" somebody, I will truly have feeling for her. Not some shitty "liking" on a 14 ear old level. Next, you cant " go out" either you cant fucking drive so what the fuck are you supposed to do, have your mom drive you too the movies...reeeeeeeal romantic. Everyone thinks that when they get into a relationship, it will last forever. Well, I know it doesnt and usually I call that i give it "2-4 weeks before they break up" and people call me jealous, but I'm not, I'm rational. My last reason is also my weirdest (sp)...I just really dont like people. I have 2 really good friends because they share alll of my personal character traits with my and a couple of other friends that I think are cool but are kinda...meh, so basically I'm waiting untill I actually find the right person thats fits, and I'm not gonna get into the 14 year old drama of breaking up after 2 weeks or any of that dumb shit.

happy...I guarantee I sounded like a complete loser fuck.

there you go...that is why I don't want a girl friend at the minute, maybe around 16-17 when I get a license and a car to actually "go out" on a date

JRT and 73109, I agree inmensely with everything you wrote. Personally, Iīm 15, and I can hardly take care of my life, much less por sharing my life with another girl  :lol . Itīs just too much of a responsability and compromise. We are young, we have more free time than many other people, and I believe we should take advantage of this stage of our lives to try to live the more happy way we can, to study, to learn, to have a hobbie, to live, because then responsabilities increase. I personally just try to get along well with girls, but I too donīt care for GFs. Plus, no teenager is hotter than a full-developed woman IMO  :metal .

Anyway, back on topic, Paramore also seems very similar to other modern famous bands I have heard, but I have only heard like 2 songs, and they werenīt bad.

(btw, I had a gf when I was 15.  Yes, like I actually had feelings for someone.  It can happen, its just a matter of when/if/how.)

The only Paramore song I know is the one that gets played on the radio a buttload. Reminds me of Evanescence, overly dramatic and overly sung to the point of being completely infuriating.

Still, that's only one song, so what do I know?

Yiu can't like someone when you are 14 and having a girl friend is a staus symbol. I happen to believe that when I should finally "like" somebody, I will truly have feeling for her. Not some shitty "liking" on a 14 ear old level.
I think you'll find the feelings you have when you, as you say, 'truly' have feelings for someone (which you seem to think can only happen once you're older) are the same as "liking" someone on a 14 year old level, provided you actually do like them and you're not just with them in a "yeah, whatever, it's about time I started doing this" sense. The feeling is essentially the same. That's what's so great about it; it has nothing to do with age.

I agree with you that the likelihood of teenage relationships lasting is pretty slim, so it comes off kinda silly when teenagers act that way, but that doesn't mean that if you like someone at your age, you should dismiss it as ingenuine and ignore it. I mean, so what if it doesn't last forever? You can't guarantee it's gonna last forever at any point in your life. If something clicks, enjoy it while it lasts.

Same here, though the relationship started when I was 14.

And before you ask, 73109, it lasted 8 months.

Joe and I in the same squad is basically the virtual equivalent of us plowing a rape van through an elementary school playground at recess.

Oh they are! She starting getting very jealous whenever I spent time with my friends so I told her: "grow up then call me back".

I saw them at Warped Tour a few years ago and they're a pretty fun band. Hayley is a talented singer and she's hotter than hell. I'm not crazy about them but I don't hate them either. They're tolerable, I guess.
