Hollow Years.
Really did not care for the song when I heard it in '97.
Budokan release turned it around for me.

You are so right.
FII version: Bottom 15
Budokan version: Top 15
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I didn't like Awake when I initially listened to it. Now it's my favorite album.

As for songs: Endless Sacrifice, Blind Faith, Lost not Forgotten, and Surrounded come to mind.

I´m really enjoying ADTOE right now, but was really disappointed when it came out.

A Change of Seasons took a while to grow on me. When I first heard it, I hated it. I thought it was a mess. Once I got a feel for the structure and became familiar with the instrumentation, I started to like it. Then one day the lyrics and vocal melodies clicked and tied it all together. Now, it's my number 2 Dream Theater song.

I wasn't the biggest fan of SC when it was first released, now it's my favorite RR-era album.
