Not bad.

I'll always think Ross Robinson is a clueless prick though.

That was an interesting watch. Made me appreciate clown even more, he's obviously a very important guy in the band.

It's mad that joey recorded all the drums for All Hope Is Gone with nobody else to play along to.

He must have known the songs ridiculously well.

Plus I think it's their best sounding album by far.

Yes, that album sounds exactly right. Not as compressed as Vol. 3. Great drum and guitar sounds.

Definity don't dislike how the new album sounds though. I was surprised to hear it was produced by Greg Fidelman, considering he was involved with Death Magnetic.

Yes but it probably wasn't his decision to distort it beyond belief. Considering most of Rick's albums are clipped - it's probably his idea.

Metallica's Ronnie Rising Medley was produced by Greg - and that sounds light years better than Death Magnetic.

All Hope Is Gone sounds a bit too polished for Slipknot in comparison to the other albums.

Finally had the chance to give the full album a listen in one sitting. Great album. Also Custer gets my blood pumping.

I didn't expect anything from this release but after the first listen I'm surprised. Good album in my opinion

Yeah it's a neck snapper. The 2 bonus songs are good as well.

After some listens the new album has become one of my favourite heavy albums of the last years. The One That Kills The Least and Nomadic are the only average songs in my opinion, have to re-listen The Devil in I, Goodbye and the closer, but the others are excellent

It's going to be weird if a drum magazine wants to feature the new drummer. Will they just have NEW SLIPKNOT DRUMMER on the cover and him in his mask and just never say his name ?

Listening to ".5 : The Gray Chapter " and nothing is grabbing my attention.

It's without doubt their weakest album so far.

You didn't really make any points to it being their weakest other than you didnt really like what you heard, so I was just disagreeing  :mehlin

I just don't see how nothing grabs you. Lots of dynamics between the songs, and some standout classic Slipknot songs such as Devil In I or Custer for example.

You didn't really make any points to it being their weakest.

I just think every song sounds like they're trying too hard or should have been B sides from earlier albums.

Some songs remind me of when I was in a band and we'd write a song that was "ok-ish" and we kept it just to pad out the set.

I like the album. TheOpener would sound awesome live and Custer is beautiful. I enjoy the softer moments more than the heavy moments.

I'm falling into the realm of this really pushing itself to being my favorite album of theirs. Gotta keep listening to it and find out how it ages on me.

Tremendous show in Budapest last night. I'll be exhausted for days. Did anyone else catch them on this tour?
