You know the old joke about how if you play a country music album backwards, you get your woman back and you get your house back and you get your truck back, etc.  Well, it got me to thinking - what happens if you played Dream Theater backwards?

If you play DT backwards, JLB seems to deteriorate, until he miraculously discovers food that heals his voice before the "Asleep" album. They also change singers when he's at his best.

Considering that DT is not a Satanic band (who's backward masking encourages worshiping Satan and doing drugs), I would imagine the messages in DT's backward lyrics include going to church and eating your vegetables!   :biggrin:

The guitar solo in Misunderstood sounds normal.

The story begins where it ended.

A hypnotherapist brings a patient to life, just as he did in a previous life in 1928, but this patient gradually forgets about that.

Edward brings Victoria to life, who gets together with Julian, then splits up, fucks Edward, and gets back together with Julian all amidst their marriage and Julian's spiral into alcoholism.

Mike Portnoy spirals into a descent of drug use and alcoholism.

This happens, and then he changes his name to Kevin.

John Petrucci is rushed out of the hospital, gets into a car crash as the other driver did not ever see the red light, and then goes to a wedding.

The lights turn off.
