I admire people who notice connections like that across different movies and characters, and have the patience to put something like that together.

What movies would I have to see in order to get that?

It can get really annoying though with all the " ZOMG blah de blah did a cameo in X movie - SAME UNIVERSE!!!1111111!!ONE ONE"

Like - I saw one where someone had linked all of Tarantino's movies together simply because he likes to reference himself.

Calm down.

And i'm not *just* talking about that Pulp Fiction speech / Kill Bill plot either.  That was obviously just QT going - hey that one speech I wrote for one scene in PF sounds like it should be a film on it's own.

Star Trek has a ton of that, where people try to come up with theories how Colonel West from one of the movies looks like Odo from Deep Space Nine, or how Tuvok from Voyager is also in Spaceballs.

You might notice I never said I found it funny, or even clever.  Just that I admire people who do shit like that.

The Tarentino connections I buy, though.  Vic Vega and Vincent Vega are brothers, even if it's never stated specifically.  Red Apple Cigarettes is a fictitious brand, but it appears in most Tarentino movies.  Same with Fruit Brute cereal, except that was a real cereal.  There are tons of things that Tarentino includes specifically because the movies are meant to be all in the same universe.

Well then you have stuff like Vic Vega in Reservoir Brothers, brother of Vince Vega from Pulp Fiction.

Scifi has soooooooo many crossovers (hooray for typecasting!), so I often make comments about people's other characters.

I don't care what anyone says. Captain Kirk and Odo ran a law firm with Daniel Jackson, and had to defend Seven of Nine from an attempted murder charge, while Marty McFly visits from the past.

Out of the blue for no reason whatsoever (and I am not really a fan of fan fiction), I wondered if it would have been cool had the Hunger Games been set in the same universe as Game of Thrones. Obviously the Hunger Games would be way in the future. I'll leave it there. I don't want to stray to close to sounding like a Twilight fan or whatever.

Don't forget Admiral Leyton a.k.a. Administrator V'Las a.k.a. Robert Foxworth as the judge in that episode and of course "Number Two" Robert Wagner from the Los Angeles office.

I was reading reviews for a school in the area my girlfriend and I were looking to move... I came across this gem.

(Rated 1/5 stars)
“i also would not recommend this school to anyone! i have had my kid in this school for 5 years and its been a fight to get things done! a teacher tells me one thing and then i find out its something eals! there is to many kids to a class room! every year ther has been over 20 kids to one teacher! thats just to many and then at the end of year it seems like hafe the kids are haveing to be held back for summer school! and then they have to do summer school or they cant go on to the nixt gread! i also have two other kids in this school and do to all the problems i am moveing so my kids can get a better schooling!”

I don’t like to judge, and I’m not saying the school isn't partially responsible, but based on this parent’s grammar and spelling, I would say he/she is a big part of the problem.

That's friggin' awesome.

My first girlfriend evar gave me The Notebook for our first Valentine's day....except I opened it to find American History X. I thought that was awesome. This is better; although, I thought the utterly stark opposites of my gift was and still is hilarious.
