It might technically not be until tomorrow for him although it is already the 12th where I am so.. Happy Birthday John!! You have helped completely change my outlook on music, you're an inspiration and your work has motivated me to try improve all aspects of my playing, so just thank you for being who you are.  ;D

Well, yeah, but in the holy trinity, The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit are all one, so they're all God, including Jesus... I'm not heavily religious either, so I don't remember how exactly that's explained, but I guess it doesn't have to be explained too much beyond, "It's God, bitches. All powerful."
