Metal + Orchestra = ???

Just finished a new song. It's kind of like movie trailer music. Heavy guitars + an orchestra. Please critique my mix and mastering.

Enjoy!

I'd pull that opening guitar back just a bit... the snare is very quiet in the mix. The drums drown a bit in the end too. I'd make the track more dynamic - make the quiet parts more quiet. That way big sounds way bigger. It's all about contrast!

The orchestra sounds synthy, but maybe you're not after critique about that.

All in all a good composition.  :tup

Thanks for the critique! The guitars came out a bit too much in the mastering stage it seemed, so I'll have to mess with the settings there. Yup, the orchestra was all Reason, so there's not much way around that without spending $$$$ on a huge library or hiring a real one lols

Thanks for listening!
