No, and I don't think I'd ever do it because of a song.

Never has a song made me do that, but seeing them live in California a few weeks ago nearly brought me to tears, as it was my first DT show and certain parts of BAI, SDV, IT, 1928 and FF nearly got me there, just because they're so amazing live and emotional, plus I was just so damn happy to be witnessing such phenomenal music live I couldn't help but be awe stricken. It was such a beautiful experience, and the "One Last Time" reprise in FF after 3 hours of DT was just a perfect way to send off the show. It was glorious.

"No One There" by Sentenced plus the video has also made me cry once or twice...

Yes yes yes yes yes! I have never cried to music, but I came closest with Sentenced's "Her Last Five Minutes" and "No One There", two emotionally charged masterpieces.

Come to think of, the only thing that I can think of where I cried in a positive way (i.e. not because I fucking cut my hand or something, but because it was so moving) was the ending of The Doctor's Wife.

Oh well. Maybe I'm just weird that way.

Disappear, of course. Especially the last vocal section. JLB touches the soul.

I've cried to The Embracing Circle, I think that to one of the ballads off ADTOE and The Spirit Carries On, perhaps to Lifting Shadows off a Dream, Another Day, The Best of Times when my grandad passed away and the one I've cried to the most: Trial of Tears. Specifically the beginning of The Wasteland.

I cried after listening to TSCO months ago, while i got the news that my dorm mate's dad passed away.
I cried after listening to Repentance last year, after i visited my Grandma's cemetery.
I cried after listening TBP last month, i don't know, my life was in a roller-coaster mode at that time and the lyrics of that song was accurately resembling what did i wanted.

damn i'm a crybaby

I haven't cried from a DT song, but I've come pretty close and had tears well up with TCOT, IT, SDV, OLT, TBP, and others. I'm sure it's happened more than once, but the only time I can remember actually crying from a song is Imagine by John Lennon when I was a teenager and I was really emotionally charged for some reason.

I cried while listening to TAMP shortly after my Dad died.  I mean, I would have cried with or without the song, but the song helped me.  It captured the experience and feeling of the loss much better for me personally than, say, TBOT, and was very cathartic.

Same with The Crimson Sunset.  Always enjoyed it, but much more significant for me now.

Once I found out what that part of ACOS was about: "Preparing for her flight, I held with all my might..."It made me cry slightly. Also, for the longest time Disappear used to bring a tear to my eye.

Haven't cried to a DT song, but I've gotten teary eyed. The end of Learning to Live (this one the most), Crimson Sunset, the end of TCOT, Space-Dye Vest and Disappear come to mind.

Despite being emotionally riveted by many songs, DT songs included, I'm very stingy with my tears. Very few songs have actually made me cry, and among DT's work, those would have to be Metropolis Pt. 1 and The Count of Tuscany.

I couldn't explain to you why it happened with the first. The end of the instrumental section and the segue back into the last couple of verses always gets me since it's probably among the most beautiful of moments in music history ever composed.

The same applies to TCOT where the ending was so grand and emotionally tugging at me. I also remember going through some trying times right around when I first started listening to it, so that entire last couple of minutes was just the icing on the tear-jerking cake.

Wanted to type a whole text at first, but to quote this suffices.
It's more like watery eyes for me, and certainly not every time - depends on my mood. Most of the time (their) music fills me with some kind of epic glory ^^

Seriously?.. No one has mentioned VACANT yet?.. Not even those who have list a lot of songs?.. Now I wanna cry because of that.. :-[

This song always make me feel as never other does it: in a such dark and anguish way.. It just transmits to me so much.. That JLB's voice is perfect with the whole song style.. I also may have a little tears with Disappear, Losing Time and TSCO.. Well.. the end of TCOT, ST&P, TALW.. but I'd say more than "tears" are actually chills, and, at most, those make me want to cry, but it never really happens..

With Vacant.. In the proper place and conditions (mostly being those my bedroom, with the lights off and alone if possible), yeah, that little song make me shed actual tears.. I'd say, anyway, that would be probably only since I know the story behind it..

The Shattered Fortress upon initial listening. I was so emotional how great of a medley it was and how perfectly they blended all four songs together.

Disappear. Why, tell me the reasons why... sigh.

The Best of Times' guitar solo tears me apart.

Vacant. am I losing you?

Far From Heaven. I couldn't believe how it described a period of my life so accurate.

Trial of Tears Live at Budokan, keyboard solo (just incredible) + exactly the moment The Wasteland starts and continues. Pure magic.

Also... both the first time I heard IT's strings section come alive in the studio with the orchestra, and the first time I've heard the final version. I was incredibly emotional and still gets me every time.

That song always gives me chills when it transitions from the spoken breakdown section to Keep all of me, The desires that once burned me deep inside

I was just getting into DT when I started dating my last gf, I remember vividly listening to Through Her Eyes after the first couple of times we met and associating it so well with the giddy butterflies feeling when you meet someone for the first time. Back then I'd discovered the song on Grooveshark, and so didn't know the context of the song in SFAM, so I thought it was a love ballad of sorts (the lyrics could be interpreted as simply losing a loved one).

However we broke up a year and a half later and now whenever I play it I can't help but be brought back to those early memories of the relationship, which in heinsight were very good times. So if I'm in that kinda deep thinking mood, I tend to break down a little when I listen to it.

I can definitely relate. It's especially bad when you end up associating a song to a girlfriend or boyfriend and listen to it shortly after a break up. This was partly why TCOT was so emotional to me after my break up with my last girlfriend. Coupled with how beautiful and sad the last few minutes are, that shit just kills you.

Wait for Sleep. A beautiful performance crossed with heartwrenching lyrics about the nature of death and you've got a fine recipe for waterworks.

I think I had a tear in my eye sometimes while listening to Through Her Eyes (the ending aaa-aa-aaa-aaa) and during the final solo in The Ministry Of Lost Souls.
So far only Steven Wilson's The Raven That Refused To Sing (which was mentioned here already) actually made me cry and that was even before I saw the video. Also, I couldn't help myself from crying at the end of Nightwish's The Crow, the Owl and the Dove fan competition video winner.
