new video for "While We Sleep" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBZ5SLJmfdw
This gentleman has taste, folks.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.
Thanks to wolfking, I just started listening to them. I'm loving what I'm hearing so far. I feel like I hear some old Amorphis influence, among other things.
Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum..............what's up next? Trivium?
I'm working my way backwards and so far have gotten really familiar with the last two, Shadows of a Dying Sun and One For Sorrow. One For Sorrow is my fav from the two, Through the Shadows is one of the greatest songs I've heard in a while.I just started listening to Across the Dark today and it could be better again.
scorpion is my favorite deathcore lobster
Hey, the length is fine Thanks!
First trailer for Winter's Gate is out.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXglsFRVPes
Yeah. Anyone who is into extreme forms of metal around here should check out Winter's Gate. It's getting considerable acclaim right now.
Winter's Gate is pretty great. Wouldn't call it a masterpiece though. Maybe after a few more listens.
I think it's something you have to be in the mood for.
Quote from: wolfking on September 28, 2016, 05:50:04 AMI think it's something you have to be in the mood for.Doesn't apply to me by any means On a couple of occasions it's the darkest and most brutal music they have ever released so that can play a part, on top of the obvious fact it's a 40 minute song. It has a few dynamically recurring themes and I knew to expect that kind of stuff, but it may not be as obvious to some other listeners. I certainly wouldn't consider it something to play in the car on initial listening, and it may be a "wintry" album for some.

Maybe after a few more listens.Yeah, it's cool indeed, but I'm not getting the masterpiece status either just yet. I'm finding it quite hard to get into if I'm going to be perfectly honest. I think it's something you have to be in the mood for.
Must've been Kwyji sending all the wrong songs.
Why hasn't no one told me about this band before?

What would be the next record I should check out?
