I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I'll admit... I found that game to be very... uninteresting.

MadBum dominated, and our bats came to life. Pretty much can take any team down.

Shields was shellshocked. Watching him pitch in the 2nd and 3rd, he looked like he wanted to be anywhere but on the mound.

Yeah, exactly.  That is what made the game so one-sided.  7-1 is a good margin, but doesn't necessarily imply a one-sided blowout.  In context, the game was a lot more one-sided than the score suggests, simply because of the fact that the Giants demoralized the Royals' ace so early in the game on the Royals' home field.  That, IMO, may have more far-reaching consequences in the series than the simple "the Giants take game 1 7-1" might otherwise imply.

I think even more demoralizing was when the Royals had gents on 2nd and 3rd with no outs, and MadBum shut them the fuck down, then continued to pitch brilliantly for another four innings. The silence was deafening.

I think KC is going to get to him this 2nd time seeing him. The Cards hit him hard but let him off the hook the second time seeing him.....if anyone else but Jhonny Peralta is at bat in the three opportunities he had to drive in runs that 2nd time it'd have been a completely different game.

Boy do we ever, already feeling the game 7 anxiety.

I think at this time it's a safe bet this thing goes 7, in which case I'd lend my prediction towards KC just because of the home field deal.

The man is unreal! I mean....he's in a whole different world. What's great is that ol' boy Kershaw has to sit and watch him dominate like ol' Clayton is supposed to be doing.... :lol   There's no denying that Bumgarner is the real deal...I didn't think he was gotta be honest. But the guy just goes out and pitches....

That's gonna be a tough one to get....that one more. I don't see KC rolling over and handing it to them. I don't see how this doesn't go 7 games. Either way....at least I'll have my Avatar back this week  :lol
