I thought Flying Colors was pretty good. Winery Dogs, however, is great!

I enjoy Flying Colors and Winery Dogs quite a bit.  The FC album in particular was a pleasant surprise.  I'm not really a huge fan of Transatlantic; it's alright, but I listen to enough prog as it is, and TA has always just kind of slipped under my radar.

As for Adrenaline Mob itself, overall it's been very hit or miss, mostly miss.  There have been some good songs here and there, but to be honest, I find Russ' forced "tough guy" vocals to be rather off putting, and how he sings pretty much makes or breaks any A.Mob song for me.  The songs where he sings like the Russel Allen I know and love are quite enjoyable, but anytime he attempts to go for that nu-metalish vocal style, it's just a major turn-off.  I actually thought MP did a pretty good job with his part in A.Mob, all things considered.  I just never really dug what the band was intended to be.

They were 10 years too late and 20 years too old with the first record. If you attempt to write music aimed at an age group you're old enough to have fathered then you're going to struggle to sound convincing... You risk coming across to the kids you're trying to appeal to as the musical equivalent of this: https://www.infinitelooper.com/?v=5epzmqAVTmM&p=n#/585;594

Part of the reason why I'm really happy that The Winery Dogs is doing well is that it's age-appropriate for MP.

A-Mob tonight on Long Island!  They are also playing an acoustic set beforehand at a tiny sports collectible shop in West Islip.

I'm ready to go psychosane, baby!  ;D

I gotta say, A-Mob was really good last night.  Russell bought some massive swagger and personality and the band was full of energy.  This band is good for what it is.  They're a fun hard rock/metal band and they throw down.  They'll probably never be huge, but I think that's fine with them.  They had a blast and love what they do, and the crowd loved it too.  The only other time I saw them was their first show in NYC with Rich Ward and DiLeo.  This performance seemed much better.  It felt like a real band this time around.  I was impressed.

Their pre-show acoustic performance in West Islip was good too.  Not a big crowd, but it's great to hear Russell sing over acoustic guitar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSVuBlU0_Hc

This band seems tight;

You beat me to it..."going downhill" doesn´t even begin to describe them. Three albums in and they have more lineup changes than Deep Purple and Yes added up.

That's a lousy way to back out of a band though, even if that band is Adrenaline Mob.

You could say they were coasting if they ever had any momentum to begin with.

At the moment - they're a car that won't start and is gradually falling apart and everyone is laughing at it.

I stopped using it years ago. Once I got tired of people on MSN or skype or text just using "lol" as a full stop.

It's pretty much the same as "k"

inb4 someone quotes this post and replies with "k"

Lol, so much for the "Mob" mentality and "Men of Honor" :lol
Moyer probably saw it as a convenient way to bridge time.

What other projects does Moyer play in? TateRyche's tour will wrap up at the end of August, unless they are going to go right into the studio to record this new "trilogy"?

I see a lot of people mentioning Disturbed getting back together. I guess that's a possibility.

He's only in TateRyche when Rude Sarzo has a prior commitment.  Sarzo is the supposedly the bassist for Tate's new Operation:Mindcrime band.

I do find it weird when people capitalize it. Even though as an abbreviation, that's obviously the correct way to do it, it just looks weird to me at this point.

You only capitalize it when it's meant to be in a William Shatner voice.

I gotta say, the History section on AM's Wikipedia page is an absolutely hilarious read. Mentions of the two albums are buried between "On the 18th of September, member X announced he would no longer..."

Also LOL ADRENALINE MOB.  :rollin

How many of their releases have been bona fide studio albums of original material ? And how many have been reissues or rehashes ?
