.....what 3 songs, if you were at a show and they played them live, would you get up and go get a beer or go take a piss?

I wouldn't leave while DT were playing for any reason, but I'd be least pumped to hear Blind Faith, Surrounded or Just Let Me Breathe. The first two, I'm not too fond of and have seen 3x already. And JLMB is my least favorite DT song.

Seeing as I've never been to a DT concert yet, I wouldn't leave no matter what song they played.

But if they had any go-take-a-piss songs, they'd have to be Burning My Soul, Anna Lee, and Build Me Up, Break Me Down, assuming we're talking LaBrie era songs here.

I probably wouldn't leave either, don't think I ever have at any gig I've been to. Anyway, even songs you're not so keen on can have a different energy about them live and be more enjoyable.

If I had to pick, then probably Repentance, You Not Me and Burning My Soul.

There are songs I don't particularly like, but considered how much money and effort I go through to go to a concert, I'm sitting through the whole thing.

Unless there's a bathroom emergency in which choice isn't aspect.

I don't think I've ever actually gone to the bathroom in the middle of a concert. Even during an all-day festival I'll go between sets, while the next band is getting set up. If I've taken the time to go to a concert, I don't want to miss any of the music, particularly if it's a Dream Theater concert.

That being said, my least favorite DT studio songs are Repentance, The Answer Lies Within, and probably The Ones Who Help To Set the Sun.

And by the way, it's okay to say 'least favorite'. I get that 'worst' implies a negative opinion, but 'least favorite' is totally innocuous.

Slightly off topic, but this reminds me of when I saw Genesis at Twickenham in '07 (reunion tour) and when they started playing Hold On My Heart literally half the stadium got up to piss. That must've been rather demoralising to see.

Prophets of War comes to mind first. I would force myself to take a piss if needed. After that, probably Panic Attack and Never Enough, but I could consider staying for those. I don't think any other DT song (not even Honor Thy Father or This Dying Soul, which follow on the "most disliked songs" list) deserves being the bathroom break.

I would never leave in the middle of any concert, let alone DT, for a bathroom break or any other break, unless the song truly annoyed me to the point of pissing me off, and DT has none of those. Usually, if a band I'm seeing plays something I don't wanna hear, that's the time I'll take pictures of the set and them performing. For example, I saw Avenged Sevenfold a few months ago and Syn did a solo. I don't like his soloing outside of their songs, so I took pictures of the set (which was amazing) and of him soloing.

But if there's 3 songs I'd have to choose to be not so enthused about them playing (excluding most of WDADU as I haven't listened to the whole album), they'd be Repentance, Hollow Years, and Another Day.

For this tour though, I'm definitely taking my bathroom break (and probably getting an alcoholic beverage or two...or three) during Enigma Machine/Along for the Ride. Enigma Machine doesn't do much for me and Along for the Ride is just way too cheesy for me.
