Me and a friend used to do that when I was 23 and we'd bong it out mercilessly.

I like self-deprecating homo humor as much as anyone but I'm stumped on this one.

Only took three replies to strip the greatness of this thread right out, and let the filth flow hard.

:welcome:

Sounds like it was a cool day Gary.  We used to actually set the tent up in our living room when the kids were younger.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Awesome!

I have daughters.  :(
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Funny, I never really did this as a kid.  I was more of a tennis racket and pots and pans guy rocking out to KISS songs with my friends.

Awesome!

I have daughters.  :(

My daughters only 16 months but as soon as she's old enough we will make blanket tents and have picnics in them regardless of how she feels about it :lol

I was more of a cricket bat guy rocking out to Maiden songs with my brothers.

Sounds like it was a cool day Gary.

Honestly.....with my wife in Mexico and it just being me and the boys....it was perfect. Which is odd to say on the weekend that my Grandmother, who I am extremely close to....takes her turn in finding out what eternity is like. But (without getting all Preachy) I think the circumstances happened the way they did for a reason because they were the perfect comfort for me.

My wife is home now and I have waited to tell the boys about thier 'Grammi' because my two oldest are going to be very upset and as much as they love their Dad there's nothing like the loving arms of a Mommy wrapping around you when your sad....so, after dinner here in a bit we will have a family gathering and break the news.  :'(

Not gonna lie.....that was brutal! My oldest (7) took it VERY hard....I'll spare you all the things he innocently said that would rip your heart out.....it was tough. Poor little guy. My (6) year old is very 'matter a fact' about everything so he's "OK" at the moment.....our (3) year old has no clue.

I lost my paternal grandma at age 4 and was simply too young to process it as well. I actually felt guilty for not crying at the funeral. Hopefully, your littlest one will have a similar "ignorance is bliss" journey through this ordeal.
