No introduction needed here. I love Heavenly, especially their first few albums. Dust To Dust made The TAC Top 50, and Sign Of The Winner is also incredible.
The band blew up after DTD, unfortunately. Frederic Leclerq was a greatt guitarist, who is now wasting his talents playing bass in Dragonforce, though, he has definitely improved their songwriting.

New Helloween, thats awesome! Wonder if it will be like the last 2. Really loved what they were going for on them. Their last 3 studios albums actually each have a cohesive feeling to them. Hope they keep it up. Dont want another Rabbit ;p

On another note, does anyone consider Avenged Sevenfold power metal? I know their last album was more classic metal, but i went back and heard a few songs off of City of Evil and some had a PM feel to them. Especially Beast and The Harlot. Awesome. Apparently M Shadows is a huge Helloween fan. Wonder if it's just the Keepers albums he loves though...

Great vocal. Song was good but I must be getting old as those cliched lyrics were just plain awful. I know its power metal and kind of expected but jeez they were bad. At least when I listen to Rhapsody Luca will do something awesome on guitar to elevate the cheesiest of songs.
I'll listen to the album though - hope for some variety and it might be decent.

I really enjoy Hammerfall for what they are though. You know, when I got into them (around 1999) they were a great find for a guy like me who was into 80's bands like Saxon, Accept, Dio, Dokken. Bands that were pretty much done by that point. Now Accept and Saxon are now making incredible albums, you might think there's not really a place for Hammerfall now. But they hit a sweet spot for me most of the time. I'm really looking forward to this album.

I recommend their Dungeon Master consume a lot more meat and vegetables. Dudes overloaded on Gouda...maybe even stopped up a bit.

Wouldn't it be pronounced Aaaa-RION (like Orion, but with a soft A)  Either way, not bad at all.  But sounds a lot like plenty I've heard before - I particularly hear Firewind.  Not sure if it's due to YT, but it sounds thin.

Got my copy.  After a couple of listens, this is pretty good.  It slows down a bit towards the end, and there's a couple of strange classic Dennis Ward type numbers that need time and listens, but this is pretty solid.  Best tracks are; Your Time Has Come, Exceptional, For the Kindgom, Long Knives, Throne of the Dawn, and probable the bonus track, Judgement Day.  Find Shelter I think will be a fav too.  Lots of solos in this too which is good.

Yeah, Kiske is definitely the hero here.  I noticed the abscence of vibrato too.  He seems to be getting stronger too the more he sings lately.
