Its Ironic how he died being in The Fast and Furious series. Sad he left young.

Shit... That sucks. He wasn't my favorite actor or anything, but he was fun to watch, and he had a few really good movies outside of F&F, but I enjoyed those movies as well and they hold some nostalgia for me. Sad to see him go.

He wasn't the best of actors, but he was perfect for the Fast and Furious series, and I really love those movies. RIP.

That's so sad to hear. Weirdly enough I watched F&F6 yesterday but I didn't finish it because I fell a sleep and now I feel a bit ashamed for that.  :sadpanda:

The irony is even more striking from where I'm standing, since they translated the title F&F into "Deadly Pace" in my home country.

Yeah, I liked Paul too.  Tragic enough that he died but even more tragic that he wasn't driving.  Killed by a moron driving beyond his limits.  I feel bad for Paul and his relatives not the driver.

I had never heard of this guy before last night.

Sad to see someone die like that, being the passenger in a car when the driver is driving like a moron, but you would hope that some would take a lesson from this and figure out that driving like that is moronic.

Speed was a factor in the crash, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office said.

Never heard of this guy before, but reading the article I just can't get over the coincidence of how this happened. RIP.

RIP to both men and condolences to both families. This was a longtime friend of Mr. Walker and they were both driving enthusiasts. I don't condone Mr. Rodas' apparent reckless driving, but at the same time,  I can't pretend that Mr. Walker had a problem with it, or wouldn't have done the same if he were the one driving. But it's tragic however you look at it.

Yes, everyone has jumped on the bandwagon with mourning Roger Rodas, and as sad as it may be (admittedly I don't feel the same emotions for him as I didn't know who he was, unlike Walker who I've "known" for many years) it's hard for me to be sympathetic after learning that Rodas was a professional driver who was obviously driving recklessly on a main road. Whether or not Paul condoned the reckless driving, this professional driver put both their lives at risk and it ultimately did cost them their lives.

Also, if you see the horrible picture of the crash, it is obvious that they were driving at a crazy high speed.  Like I said, if you drive like a moron, bad things can happen.

I agree with Zook and yeah, from the looks of the car, they were most likely killed on impact instead of by fire due to highly excessive speeds.  What a shame.

As someone who between the ages of 16-19 drove like a fucking prick, my heart breaks over this story. I could say something like "they had it coming" or "it's their fault for driving like assholes" until the cows come home. But the truth is, I've driven just as recklessly hundreds of times, my friends have driven just as recklessly hundreds of times, and I'm sure at least a handful of us on this board have driven just as recklessly hundreds of times. As weird as this may be to say, I hope that both of them died on impact. They thought of spending the last few seconds of your life trapped in twisted metal while being engulfed in a fireball is terrifying (even more ironic that that's the description Vin Diesel gave in the first movie).

Sad. Sad. Sad.

It's kind of fucking disgusting to see all those people crowd the man while he's trying to mourn his friend...

But hey, that's hollywood. Cunts...TMZ and all the onlookers...as if they're there to actually participate in mourning (which, I'm sure a few are....small...small few).

Damn, I do feel terrible for his family and all that, though I do think it's a bit funny and appropriate the way he died. May he rest in peace.

I wouldn't even call Ryan Dunns fate appropriate so to call an actors death appropriate because he's most famous for portraying a character in a movie about fast cars is a bit to much.

Sorry, opinion hasn't changed just because people feel they have to walk on eggshells around these subjects. Death can be funny. I didn't say it's funny that he's dead, but I find the way he died funny considering who he is. I really don't feel like I need to justify this any further.

As did I. I don't think there are too many DTF members that would outright laugh at a tragic death.

Bummed for this guys family....especially his daughter. I hate hearing stories of any child losing a parent.
