We should just choose a winner every other Saturday if the previous winner has not yet chosen anyone.  :P

Great submissions everyone!

Holy crap! I can't even justify dropping $5 on a single track.

What can I say? I'm a fiend for instrumentals. I collect them like lonely old ladies collect cats.

Oh I would get every single one of them.. but I haven't allowed myself to justify it.. yet.. :lol

I justified it by turning them into Karaoke tracks and singing them when I go to Karaoke. Since my friend hosts it, I just give him my USB and he lets me sing whatever I bring.  ;D

:lol I had this gig where we were hosting Karaoke a few weeks ago, but something happened and no one showed up (don't ask) and so I just pulled out some instrumental DT and my mom and I sang it all night to an empty room with only my dad and a bar tender. I actually sang Learning to Live all the way through on my own almost perfectly. Too bad that only happens when no one's around  :rollin

/end of cool story

Thank you!

I choose....

"Even though I'll be gone, I will live on, live on", from A Change of Seasons (approx. 21:58 - 22:15)

I don't mind how you do it. Play it seriously or for comedy, your choice! If you can't hold that note, that's fine too! Just put your own twist on it! :)

I'll give it a shot.

This is my first take: https://picosong.com/CWAs

I have my Corsair headset around my neck recording me singing and an iPod playing ACoS from a youtube video through a speaker, lol.

Note: This is not quality content, but I hope someone finds it at least entertaining. :corn

Can we assume Sir Walrus Cauliflower won this and will select the next line? There wasn't anyone who dared to post another take after his epic contribution. Ad134, you agree?

Yeah! Whoo! I'd like to thank my sponsors; Corsair for manufacturing my headphones, Spotify for playing the section of the song, and DTF for giving me this opportunity. I'd also like to thank my crew for doing a great job on pit road, and my crew chief James LaBrie for making that final call that won the race.

Anyways, I will forever cherish this achievement. This is going on all my future job applications.

The next line is: "I have done what you asked of me. Leaves me nothing to live for" from Far From Heaven. (1:35 - 1:54) The person with the most exaggerated vibrato wins.

The person with the most exaggerated vibrato wins.

So TheAtliator wins.

Next line?

Looking forward to it  :lol

I've seen a lot of people talking about how exaggerated that line is, so we might as well make it moreso.

I know this is breaking the rules a little here, but, as I don't have a voice at the moment (I damaged my vocal chords through food poisoning like a certain Mr. LaBrie I could mention, but I have to ask somebody to do "Watch the sparrow falling
Gives new meaning to it all
If not today nor yet tomorrow then some other day

I'll take seven lives for one
And then my only father's son
As sure as I did ever love him I am not afraid " like James can on I&W! That is IMPOSSIBLE for me to pull off with my band when we do pull me under!!

^^^ Well if you go an octave lower than James sings that part it might be possible. In all fairness, even James struggles with that part. :P But sometimes he completely nails it and it's quite impressive.

Yay!

Okay sure, next line-

"Watch the sparrow falling
Gives new meaning to it all
If not today nor yet tomorrow then some other day

I'll take seven lives for one
And then my only father's son
As sure as I did ever love him I am not afraid"

I'll choose either the most impressive success or the most hilarious fail of an attempt.  :)

As a child, I thought I could live without pain, without sorrow
As a man, I've found it's all caught up with me, I'm asleep yet I'm so afraid

Interpret it how you will if you can't go as high as LaBrie.

Yeah, that's the thing. I'll definitely participate... SOMETIME... I'll probably record it tomorrow night. Even though I'm sick, but who knows how that'll turn out. Maybe it'll sound cool.  ;D

Can't believe I typed that..Consider me MP before ther SS suite. Humility now my only hope.
