The venue is nicely packed by the way.
Is this an innuendo of some kind?
Inyouandwho?
That's what I thought.

Oh, Hi Mike.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I'm curious as to how they performed the fade-in intro.

Other than the obvious FAS->The Enemy Inside, and finishing one set with IT, The Shattered Fortress was my only other prediction.  Awesome that I got that one right.  I CANNOT WAIT to see it state side.  :fistpump:  I only wish they were playing The Glass Prison immediately before it.

The Shattered Fortress is on of my least favorites by DT but on second thought I'd actually like to hear it live ;)

Hopefully they rotate The Shattered Fortress with The Glass Prison
YES. I really like TSF, but TGP would be fucking amazing.
Also, i wonder how different this set will be on the US leg, and if they're rotating sets every night.
And having TSF and OtBoA this early in the set feels kinda weird because they don't normal construct their sets like that but i'm all for it  :tup

I guess that's no surprise really, lead 'single' from the last album.

Purely a guess, but my best guess is:  Hold the last chord of TEI until it starts to feedback, and then just start the "chugga, chugga, chugga" of The Shattered Fortress at full volume rather than as a fade-in.

?

I love that song. I am glad they are playing it, wonder if there is another segue into WIMH. Doubt it. That was one of my favourite parts of the last tour.

I pretty much knew it was going to show up again since it was nominated for a Grammy. It kind of is their new Pull Me Under, in a way.

BTW, keys76 said Surprise 1 earlier, so I know we are in for some good stuff later!

And Grammy-nominated first single at that.  I think it is a no-brainer that they would have played it.

EDIT:  Kinda ninja'd

I've been saying that for months. They won't take that song out of their set for quite a while for that reason. And if TEI wins the Grammy, that'll be in for a while too.

It's just that I saw that song in the last tour and, since it is not one of my all time favs, I'd like to hear another song

That works. I wouldn't be surprised if that's how they actually did it.

It's a 3 hour set... you're bound to get duplicates.

If there is a ballad, I'd like to see Disappear or Anna Lee.
