For those who don't know; I'm the guitarist and songwriter for progressive rock/metal band Overhaul. We don't have much to show yet, but we have finally gone live, not only to pressure ourselves to actually do stuff, but mostly to enter the world of social media and be visible to the rest of the world. We'll fill our pages with music and updates soon!

Thanks! We're trying to get some actual footage on there asap. We have two gigs planned in the next two weeks and one of those will be filmed by a good friend of ours. Then this summer, we're going to record some demos of a couple of tracks.

Wow, thanks a bunch! This weekend we recorded all of Daybreak properly and the next weekend we're going to tackle a different track as well, so we can release some proper demos soon. It was an awesome experience and so far it's turning out great!

Update with new music! We recently got ourselves a lead singer and we worked on the recording of some more songs. We released our 'Daybreak' EP online yesterday and a physical release is soon to be released as well. You can hear it on our soundcloud page:

In all seriousness, I really liked it instrumentally. The singer sounded a little weird on the first listen, but I already liked him more on the second one, so I'm sure he's a good pick.

Now where's that 30 minute song you promised?

Cool! Glad you liked it.

That '30 minute song' is actually a collection of 7 different tracks. 'Daybreak' is the first, an instrumental overture, and the remaining 6 tracks have all been written. We just need to record them sometime. In total, it clocks in at around 60-70 minutes, so it's practically a (concept) album full of music. We do intend to release it as such sometimes, but first gain some ground with this EP and by playing some gigs here and there.

Cool... I'll kinda echo Tom's comments. Music was great. Fucking fantastic. Vocally, I wasn't too fond of the delivery on Undefeated, but I thought Three Judges was very good.

Thanks very much man! It's all been recorded and produced by us at our rehearsal space, but we took the time to make it sound as good as we possibly could. I'm very proud of the result. Like I said, a physical release is being pressed at the moment. I hope this could give us some exposure

c) We received the physical copies of the EP yesterday! The physical copy has one extra track that's not available online. I'm pretty sure many people on these forums would know it and might even like it.

I have no idea who I'm typing this for, but for those who don't follow us on Facebook; our release-party was awesome! We played a nice setlist comprising of own material and a couple of cover songs. We sold quite a few EPs and can look back on a great evening. I'm a happy guitarist

That live video is amazing and the mix is stunning! Very well done!

I was actually at the gig, and though the show was very good, the mix could've been a bit better. The mix on the video though... near perfect!

Thanks! We got the audio in around 40 tracks, so we did a lot of editing afterwards (with the video as well, as that was filmed with 11 cameras). I'm very proud of the result and there's more videos coming within the next month!
