Nashville also belongs to that group, because some people jokingly call Tampere Nääsville because of the local dialect :D It's the third biggest city in Finland, so I won't be living in a shithole anymore :lol

Where are you moving? I think you mentioned the name of the place once but I can't remember which it was.

Not here, really. I rarely heard of people who moved for the hell of it; most moves occur when you go to study in a different city, and I missed my chance there.

Then again, I'd probably dislike the shit out of any city I move to, so that's just an empty wish :lol

Don't forget that you may get a job from another city or move to the same place with your significant other ;) On the other hand, every place has its pros and cons - some flaws just get replaced with others. For example, Tampere has more to offer than Seinäjoki, but it's a less peaceful place. That said, I'd much rather live in a city with two record stores and numerous interesting gigs instead of a place where you're dependent on what CDs a couple of local warehouses have to offer and only get to see gigs twice a year :lol

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Hey guys, I'm back! What did I miss? Anyway, fieldwork was awesome but I slightly fucked up the last part which means that I have to go to the uni next week to rewrite a report. But oh well, it'll work out. How are things around here?

As you may have read already, the upcoming DT album is self-titled. You should've been here last Friday when the guy who runs the Roadrunner FB page joined DTF following an incident on FB - the "DT in the studio again" thread should be entertaining to read! :D Don't forget to take a look at the photo edit thread, there are some hilarious captions!

As for myself, I've just started my last week at my summer job. I also got accepted into the university I applied to :metal

Ha! I guess you don't have it over in Europe. It's a standardized test everyone takes over here. It scored from 1-36, and 31 is good enough for the scholarship I wanted.
