I'm probably going with Omni next, but honestly, as Nihil-Morari has pointed out, it's ridiculously difficult to vote for anything here. The whole thing is an album and every song is awesome in the context of the album (except for Animae Partus II imo).

I can't believe I'm the only vote for Latericius Valete...it's not much more that a brief interlude...and certainly needs to go before some of the really cool *songs* that are being voted for.

To me, Latericius Valete contains the best moment in the album. To hear that population count is devastating, and the music that follows is powerful. Long doesn't always = better.

You wouldn't believe how many of the shorter tracks here are some of the best and most important. Like I said, Omni is in my top 5 and Latericius is probably in the top half of the album as well.
I mean I'm totally campaigning for Diffidentia or Imago after Nauticus and Deus Nova are gone... so.

I guess it's a testimony to the genius of this album.  Everything on the album appeals to different people.    My favorite tracks are also unorthodox tracks...(Vocari Dei and Pluvius Aestivus are among the jaw dropping moments in PoS history to my ears)...but they also stand on their own instead of just being transitional like Omni and Latericius

To me, Latericius Valete contains the best moment in the album. To hear that population count is devastating, and the music that follows is powerful. Long doesn't always = better.

Indeed, Latericius Valete (and the population count/reprise of Deus Nova in Nihil Morari) is almost the climax of the album for me as well.

My album ranking would be something like this:

That would be, as single songs or as moments in the album. Yes, Vocari Dei is still fucking beautiful and Lilium Cruentus is definitely the worst of the 'proper tracks', but I would listen to it off album context sooner than Vocari Dei.

I just can't....

I'm voting for Latericus. But Maybe Dea Pecuniae is my least favorite, although that is a great song, and one of the only proper songs on the album. As is Iter Impius, but that has never really grabbed me in the way Omni or Nauticus (Drifting) did.

The entire song hits me deeply, the mood, atmosphere, tone and choice of instruments relives the earthly expereience I encounter in life. Funny its a fave, yet its out...we got to vote early next time

Well, I'll admit I've voted for this, but there's quite a lot of people voting without posting what they voted for.. Basically almost everyone who does post in this survivor has stated not to have voted for Vocari Dei, so, yeah, it is pretty weird. Then again, I have had around 20 voters throughout the whole survivor, so I don't think there's trolling going on here, but simply people voting without posting what and why.
