Also, just found out that the Crack The Skye CD I bought for 7 euro's has a second CD included, the making of. That's probably the best deal I'll ever get for 7 euro's, it's brand new too.

God, I love that album  :hefdaddy :hefdaddy :hefdaddy

Is the making of any good? It's probably on Youtube or something so will have to check it out.

I haven't gotten around to everything on the bonus disc yet (there's a menu with like 10 clickable subtopics) but I've watched the 'making of Crack The Skye' and it's pretty cool. Especially Brann goes a lot into detail. Wish they would not play the same fucking Oblivion intro riff over and over during every single break between scenes though. It's the same 5 second clip over and over and over, it really annoys me now.

Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene

Still have my vinyl copy of this album I bought back in 1980. This album started my interest in electronica that led me on to Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Klaus Schulz, Kitaro, Ash Ra and many others. Still one of my favourite albums from this genre. The follow up album Equinox, is also excellent. Still have my vinyl copy of that as well.

you may or may not want to pick up the toothgrinder album i'unno it's solid but not great
This one was actually sold out when I visited the store this morning, oh well

Ihsahn - Arktis.
Katatonia - The Fall of Hearts

About fucking time I got these

I actually went to the store specifically for the new Alcest but they don't even have it wtf, and it's still not available on Spotify, kill me. Also apparently this store lumps together all the rock/pop music into one category so Rage Against the Machine, Royal Blood and The Mars Volta are now officially pop bands

Aghora - Formless
Anciients - Voice of the Void
Brain Tentacles - Brain Tentacles
Dysrhythmia - Veil of Control
Elder - Dead Roots Stirring
Gorguts - Colored Sands
Insomnium - Winter's Gate
Novmebre - Ursa
Thy Catafalque - Meta

i still have another 9 on the way but they're like all from different places lol. I think like 4 of them from a few different bandcamp sellers, one from discogs, 2 from an amazon seller, and 2 more back ordered from importcds

i think all the most hype ones are in these 9 though, tbh. wilderun and cobalt are pretty hype too though.

I wouldn't normally post a 1 album update but Dissona - Paleopneumatic came in yesterday and according to the rym list I've been using to keep track this is the #100th album I've bought this year

But there are some digital only ones and a few EP's too so I dunno how accurate that really is  :corn

My first album of 2017 has arrived: A Place in the Queue (2-disc edition) by The Tangent. 7 tracks on the main album, totalling 79 minutes. And it sounds amazing! I love the British cultural references that Tillison includes in the lyrics from time to time. I think of the sound as Yes meets King Crimson (plenty of saxophone involved) with lyrics about life in modern Britain.
