Earl Sweatshirt - Doris (cd)

Very pleased with today's haul. Finally got around to getting some great records. One of which (I Love You, Honeybear) is my favorite album of the year so far.

Received from Japan today:

Transatlantic: SMPT:e (2-Disc digipak)
Transatlantic: Bridge Across Forever (2-Disc digipak)
The Winery Dogs: Unleashed in Japan 2013 (3-Disc set w/ 2 CDs)
Rock Super Stars Vol 3 (featuring James LaBrie on Seperate Ways & You've Got Another Thing Comin')
I don't want MP playing with DT unless they were making a drummer change. If they let MM go and bring back MP, then fine, but no guest appearance please.

Riverside - Rapid Eye Movement

Go to website specifically to order two-disc version. Pay the extra $2 for the two-disc version. Get the cd in the mail surprisingly quick. Open package. Receipt says two-disc version. Open cd case... one disc.

You colossal. Fucking. Idiots. You had one job. ONE.

Just was at the local store, grabbed those two for the quite low prices (about 2$):

Threshold - March of Progress (thanks to ErHaO and Seneca who sent this band in my roulette)
Triosphere - The Road Less Travelled (got into them after receiving a promo of The Heart of the Matter, thought I'll give this one a shot)
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Managed to find last year's George Harrison box set for a reasonable price. Now they can sit together on the shelf!

I prefer that one slightly myself, but it may also be first purchase bias.

So, as opposed to scattering CDs around about 5 different places, I finally got myself a shelf to hold all of them. By choice I have Rush and Dream Theater separated elsewhere, but here you can rate the new 1,500 CD holder. :D

It's much better (and heavier) than La Raza. Being that all of the music was written by Joey, it just feels proggier.

Punk! (it's a crappy compilation album - low quality and not good songs - it was £0.25, so what was I expecting)

Two albums purchased in recent weeks, since my last post:

Marillion: Holidays in Eden

2015 has definitely been a Marillion year so far for my music collection. This is my fourth of their albums I've bought this year. Dry Land is my favourite song.

Spock's Beard: The Kindness of Strangers

My sixth SB album arrived this morning. Most of these songs I've never heard before, so it'll be good to familiarise myself with them.
