Iron Maiden - Live After Death
Iron Maiden - Maiden England '88 (CD)
Iron Maiden - Maiden England '88 (DVD)
Gold Fields - Black Sun
Depeche Mode - Delta Machine (Deluxe Edition)

Why the fudge does the cd version of Maiden England cost more than the dvd version. That seemed... odd. o_O

So, I tried to head in to this year with a music acquisition strategy of nothing from new bands.  That didn't last too long.  Oh, and I also blew a Peter North sized load month week filling out some discographies.  My March haul.

Angra - Aqua, Holy Land Angels Cry, Rebirth
Shadow Circus - Welcome to the Freak Room
Mind Key - Pulse for a Graveheart
Pathosray - Sunless Skies, s/t
Elegy - Principles of Pain, State of Mind, Forbidden Fruit, Manifestations of Fear
Silent Force - full discography
Thought Chamber - Angular Perceptions
Firewind - Burning Earth
Outworld - Outworld
Pretty Maids - Wake Up to the Real World, Future World, Pandemonium

And a few others that I can't remember right now
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Angra - Aqua, Holy Land Angels Cry, Rebirth

Pathosray - Sunless Skies, s/t

Kinda surprised you didn't already have those Angra album's. You'll like them, classic.

Sunless Skies was kind of meh, but Pathosray debut s/t kicks all kinds of ass.  :metal

for some reason, I only had Temple of Shadows, and Fireworks.  All the talk in the Angra thread a while ago finally inspired me to top of the collection.

Just listened to Sunless Skies (I bought it just based on the strength of the s/t).  You had me worried.  It started slow, but the 2nd half was really good.

Other haul's this month

First Signal - s/t
Amadeus Awad - Time of the Equinox
Poverty's No Crime - The Chemical Chaos
Powerworld - s/t, Human Parasite
Spock's Beard - BNADS
Winger - IV
WarMachine - Left for Dead, The Beginning of the End (saw these guys open for QR... dayum!)

What's your opinion on the Angra stuff, Chad? I'm pretty sure that you'll dig Holy Land and Rebirth, they should be right up your alley.

Love it.  Rebirth was awesome; Holy Land less memorable for some reason.  Unfortunately, it's all getting lost in the shuffle of a massive amount of albums I bought this month, and trying to find the right music for Nem's roulette.

Yeah, I know that feel. :P On second thought, I can totally see you not enjoying Holy Land as much, it's not as much progressive metal, it as lots of influences of Brazilian folk, and while I enjoy it, you're probably more of a straight-up prog-metal style. Still, definitely keep listening. :tup

Besides the first song, Sunless Skies sucked. I wish the debut had the same production as it though.

So I've picked up this yesterday:

Opeth - Live at the Royal Albert Hall (Deluxe 2dvd/3cd Edition) (New, but just 4 euro's!)
Muse - HAARP (CD + DVD edition) (That too, new and just 4 euro's)
Gorillaz - Gorillaz (5E)
Gorillaz - Demon Days (5E)

So, quite a good haul, a lot of material, for under 20 euro's.  :)

I certainly did.

Also hauled all the Europe that I didn't have

Start from the Dark
Secret Society
Last Look at Eden
Bag of Bones

Can be sure most/all of those will be in the 'last album listened to' thread by the end of the day.

Secret Society is possibly my fav Europe album from which I'm familiar with.  It's just modern melodic rock and it's fantastic.
