Have never heard of these guys before and had no idea Mark Andersson was on this. I just checked out a few track samples on Amazon and was shocked to hear his voice. Definitely going to pick this one up.

Bought a bunch of albums in the last couple of weeks.

Borealis - Purgatory
Circus Maximus - Havoc
Headspace - All That You Fear Is Gone
Rhapsody - Legendary Tales
Rhapsody - Symphony of Enchanted Lands
Rhapsody - Dawn of Victory
Rhapsody - Rain of a Thousand Flames
Rhapsody - Power of the Dragon Flame
Redemption - Art of Loss

I use a prepaid credit card and only had $40 dollars left on it.  I didn't want to load it up with more money at this point as there wasn't much other than the Redemption that I wanted to get.  I knew if I'd load my card up, I'd buy albums I don't really want or need.

The Redemption worked out at around $30 with the shipping but didn't feel like ordering just the one album, wanted to spend the other $10.  Looking through everything the Dokken just came in under so went with it.  Dumb story but that's exactly what happened.  :lol

Great album though, safe and solid but good songs and great 80's crisp style production.  Norum slays on it too.

  Norum slays on it too.

A lot of great playing from Billy White too , who played much of the really fast stuff.  He is now some sort of spiritual guru who plays a mandolin or some shit  :lol

I don't know much of Billy White, and without looking closely at the credits, didn't know there was another player on this album besides Norum.  But I thought some of it was too shreddy for Norum, makes sense.  :lol

Billy was a founding member of Watchtower , so the dude can play.  Never floated my boat - that sort of technical thrash - but I'm sure you have heard of them.  Come to think of it they were some of the very earliest prog metal.

I saw this but didn't pick either the cd or DVD up.  I just don't see me listening or watching it at all.  Let me know what you think Jason.

It was a purchase without hesitation because I think its a good chance it will be their last live album release.  I just bought the cd.

Its your typical Judas Priest live album, very similar to the Touch of Evil live album.  I'll be honest, I don't think Rob sounds fantastic on this release.  I thought he sounded much better when I saw him live last November.  Some songs are a bit of a grinder to listen to, but overall I would say its solid.  I bought it because all Priest material is pretty much a must buy and because its likely their last live album, but you are definitley not missing out if you don't buy it.  Plus I know you weren't the biggest fan of RoS.

I just watched a couple of live clips and yeah, Rob isn't that great, but I'm not expecting much from him anyway.  He still is doing a great job considering his age.  The sound overall is pretty good too.  Yeah, wasn't a big RoS fan, nor am I a Richie fan, which is probably the main reason I don't have much interest.  Although, Halls of Valhalla was pretty decent when I watched the clip on youtube.  I might hold off until it comes down cheaper I think.

Anthrax- For All Kings

I enjoyed some songs off this. And their last one as well. Their new~ish vocalist is ugly as a dog's breakfast but his voice suits them perfectly.

My Haul.
 - Circus Maximus - Havoc
 - FFDP - Got your Six
 - Disturbed (the new one)
 - Scar Symmetry some 2014 disc
Take care everyone - Bet you all didn't even notice I was gone.

Happy Lives to you all.

The Disturbed was pretty good.  The Scar Symmetry is The Singularity Part 1.  Good melodic death with lots of hints of prog.  Good album and looking forward to part 2 sometime later this year.
