yes. The album will be coming this year, but it likely won't be until late in the year as the guys are all living in different cities now.

Man, I'm really interested to see how this goes. Set Sail The Prairie was the perfect example of an album that I'd say was half brilliant/half-boring, so I hope they can tighten up their sound and put out something great here.

same here.

I'm sure expecting it to be as good or better than Set Sail is too much, but I think it should a big sounding and ambitious album regardless, which already scores points with me.

I even think, just those demos they released a few years ago were amazing, perhaps the fanboy in me loved them more than I would have, had I not been. But it makes me think I'll love this album just because it's them..a little like the new Vennart record. I just love hearing new music from him again,   I already can appreciate the music for that reason.

but I just stumbled on something. The singer and drummer from Kaddisfly have a new Project named "Old Hick" and it's sort of alt-country music.
I'm unsure how serious it really is, maybe it's my fanboy bias, but I'm kind of liking it.

I checked this out last night. Definitely not my thing. It felt like a parody to me.

But still love Kaddisfly. I should listen to them today.

I can always get down with some catchy country pop, but I'd prefer an album over a bunch of random singles
