« on: January 14, 2013, 11:11:38 AM »
So here we go again. The top two from each album will make the finals, third place will enter the Consolation round. I'm going to try and run two albums simultaneously as far as I can.

Round 1

Finding My Way
Need Some Love
Take A Friend
Here Again
What You're Doing

Very good album, in the upper half of Rush albums. I like 70s rock.

In the Mood is the only one that doesn't rock my socks.

Take a Friend.

This. Never really fond of this tune, and I can understand why it was never played live. Unfortunately, "Before & After" was also never played live, but I think it should have been, I can just imagine just how amp'd up it would sound with Neil's blistering drumming on it in the live setting!

You know...I first heard this album when I was 12 years old, and just falling in love with Rush.   I think that's why I *STILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE*  everything from this album.

Very sad to see TAF getting so many votes off the bat.   Love that song.  Great riff...

In the mood.
I never understood how it stayed as a staple in their liveshows for so many years...

I'm fine with Take A Friend.

I'm not. My favourite song after What You're Doing. I love the chorus.

Because it's a fun, toe-tapping rocker that always got the crowd excited.

Take a Friend is a very enjoyable song, as are pretty much all of 'em.  I had to vote for What You're Doing.

Hey, like I said, I find all of them enjoyable.   It's a hard choice for any of these.  I don't think Before and After will last long, but I love that song, so I'm putting it out there now.
