Rush Survivor 2013 - Preliminaries - 1980s
« on: January 11, 2013, 04:19:58 AM »
So before the main survivor begins on Monday, I'm gonna run a few quick polls beforehand to get everyone in the mood.

Next, what is your favourite album from the 1980s?

I'd have to go for Moving Pictures. Seeing it live rejuvenated it.

Fix'd for me
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Permanent waves. Not only my favorite Rush album, but one of my favorite albums of all time, top 10 material for sure.

Gotta say, unlike most Rush fans, I prefer their 80s work. Aside from Hold your fire, all of these albums are great.  :hefdaddy

Permanent Waves, but it could have easily been MP or POW.

If it were just going by individual sides, I would go for Moving Pictures, but as a whole, the clear choice is Power Windows.

Power Windows.  Moving Pictures is close, but I like Power Windows more as a whole. On a song by song basis, Red Barchetta, Limelight, and probably YYZ would outrank individual songs from Power Windows.

Favorites from Power Windows: Middletown Dreams, Marathon, Mystic Rhythms, Grand Designs
Perhaps you should ask bosk to reverse the "e" and "a" in the second half of your user name.
