2.   The Answer Lies Within vs. In the Name of God (14min badassery vs snooze...)
3.   Eve vs. Overture 1928 (the edge is VERY slight)
4.   I Walk Beside You vs. The Great Debate (going for the 2nd song JP wrote in first person from the perspective of Jesus)

1.   Space-Dye Vest vs. This is the Life (this song has grown so much in me, this is a match without story, even though TITL is a song I like)
2.   The Answer Lies Within vs. In the Name of God (I don't really like ITNOG anymore, except for the live outro of 2004. I like Answer more than most on these boards)
3.  Eve vs. Overture 1928 (Eve is a great song, a song I love in the deepest meaning the word can have)
4.   I Walk Beside You vs. The Great Debate (another song that has grown on me lately. Great buildups, great samples, great musicanship)
5.  Home vs. Never Enough (the fuckfest wins)
6.   Rite of Passage vs. Scarred (lol)
7.   Raise the Knife vs. Surrounded (the best lyrics of KM agains poor lyrics, dealing with KM a bit unfairly. Musically, no brainer)
8.   A Fortune in Lies vs. Strange déjà vu (I never really liked the newer SDV)
9.  Another Won vs. The Best of Times (Yes, controversial but I feel it's the right choice)
10.   6:00 vs. Lie (Again, one year ago this would have been madness. Seeing 6:00 performed 7 meters away from me had something to do with the change)
11.   Trial of Tears vs. These Walls (Sometimes there are matches you can't just win)
12.   The Silent Man vs. Erotomania (in the end the music prevails on the lyrical content)

1.   Space-Dye Vest vs. This is the Life (not a huge fan of ADToE, but I've always liked TiTL and SDV is decent but kind of boring)
2.   The Answer Lies Within vs. In the Name of God (Easy, TALW is boring)
3.   Eve vs. Overture 1928 (Close...)
4.   I Walk Beside You vs. The Great Debate (I Walk Beside You is terrible)
5.   Home vs. Never Enough (Great song on SFAM vs another weak 8vm song... easy)
6.   Rite of Passage vs. Scarred (I do like ARoP but Scarred is so much better)
7.   Raise the Knife vs. Surrounded (Love Surrounded)
8.   A Fortune in Lies vs. Strange déjà vu (Easy... I love Strange Deja Vu)
9.   Another Won vs. The Best of Times (not really a fan of either but TBoT is better)
10.   6:00 vs. Lie (Both decent... but Lie's chorus is just too cringeworthy)
11.   Trial of Tears vs. These Walls (Can you tell that I dislike 8vm at this point? I don't like These Walls at all either, not to take anything away from ToT, which is awesome)

2.   The Answer Lies Within vs. In the Name of God - I love the guitar and keyboard solos.
3.   Eve vs. Overture 1928 - Beautiful piece of music.
4.   I Walk Beside You vs. The Great Debate - Walked into my wedding with this song.
5.   Home vs. Never Enough - Exotic song theme versus bitter & trite lyrics. 
6.   Rite of Passage vs. Scarred - Being a Freemason I love the RoP lyrics, but Scarred is a great song.
7.   Raise the Knife vs. Surrounded - Light to dark - dark to light - light to dark - dark to light.
8.   A Fortune in Lies vs. Strange déjà vu - Tough choice for me but SDV gets the slight edge.
9.   Another Won vs. The Best of Times - Love the intro to this song.
10.   6:00 vs. Lie - One of JPs coolest riffs ever.
