Love 'old' System, saw them live in 2003 which was just the best thing ever, not such a big fan of their newer material but I was sort of planning to go to Download anyways and with Sevenfold also confirmed that might just seal it.

Yea, it's a great cover. Was very suprised when I heard it for the first time. Was listening to the album without having checked the song titles and suddenly this came on. I was like 'wut' and

Now, that I disagree with. Johan Hegg is an excellent vocalist. For death metal, his vocals are exceptionally easy to decipher.

I agree with Gadough. He's a great death metal vocalist, and Amon Amarth are awesome when they are playing their original material. This Aerials cover...not sure if want. Still.

I hope it's not forbidden to revive this thread once again.

I am SO fucking pumped for their concert! Over the past few months I've listened to them non-stop.

Favorite songs change around, but I always go back to Toxicity and Prison Song/Toxicity/Psycho/Aerials. Seriously, Daron's line in Prison Song makes the song for me.

I agree though that Lonely Day is pretty bad. I read somewhere that Daron originally didn't even want it on the album, he supposely writes songs all the time that he doesn't fit the SoaD concept. It was the other band members who had to "drag the song out of him".

I don't really listen to SOAD that much anymore but they still totally rank as one of my top ten-ish bands, they're freakin' amazing live, best live band I've seen (tied with Symphony X), I would LOVE to go see them again (I saw them twice before, in 2003 and 2005) but I have limited funds and time so I don't think I will... I'd rather go see band I'm currently insane about.

Lonely Day is okay, not awful, but not their best. And HECK YES to Symphony X!!!
