I'm still on the ground. It'd take a nice payday or a gun to my head to get me to jump out of a plane.

But just a good nap to get you off a balcony....

That's a zinger :lol
I haven't heard Scaramucci speak yet cause I haven't been able to stream anything for about a month now, but I read what he says and it plays in Tommy DeVito's voice in my head, Joe Pesci's character in Goodfellas.
I wouldn't want somebody with 18 kids to mow my damn lawn, based on a longstanding bias I have against crazy fucks.

Any of these American Extremists need to be clubbed. All extremists need to be locked up. I'm so tired of extremes.

They're called Nazis.  Back in our fathers and grandfathers day we didnt tolerate their bullshit, but these days Trump and the rest of the limp wrist PC conservatives dont want to offend anybody.

SAD.

Amen about the locked up, cannot get down with extremists met with violence though.  :)

The strange thing about this all- everyone I know respects WW2, all that participated, and the "just" cause of the Allies. So mostly our grandparents, or great parents; I'm sure there were bad things that still happened, war protests (especially the interment camps), traitors and so on. But from my perception, the US was united and rallied armed forces and support work against a bigoted, horrendous , nationalist power. And I refuse to believe that it will ever get to that point again. This doesn't help anything though.  :-\

There was an American Nazi party in the years leading up to the war, and the KKK had a great amount of political power in the early 20th century. And much of that power was in the northern states which is often contrary to what is generally believed about that "mind-set". Also, keep in mind that the civil rights act wasn't passed until the mid-60's, and it can be argued that many of those rights are under attack to this day.

Our fathers and grandfathers lived in a segregated society. None of what happened today is new for the United States in any shape or form.
