Instead of that lame liquid metal terminator it's a terminator made of smile. SO much cooler.

It almost looks fake, it's so crazy. If I saw that shit, I'd be like "nope".

I like watching their feet/legs.  :lol Even the badass that Craig is...that slight knee switch, and then the lady's foot moving back...DAT FLIGHT REFLEX DOE.

Brain is all: "We're good, we're good; it's controlled."
Body is all: "FUCK YOU DOIN!? GET THE FUUUUUUUUUUUCK OOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!!!!"

Then again I barely remember that movie so I dunno if that was just apart of their character and/or 'realism', but no one remind me. Don't ruin it for me!

Pretty crazy either way. Fucking 'murica.

That explosion doesn't seem to scale. It looks like a miniature model with some forced perspective.

The buildings look like they're quite far away to keep it safe for the actors and crew, coupled with the wide FOV to fit it in frame.

Mine are that sharp. It's actually safer to have  a sharp knife than a dull one.

Plus when they're that sharp, you barely feel it going through the flesh.....

I'm thinking RJ could validate this:

In my mid 20's I worked in the restaurant industry managing, and it' was near 100% certain that the day the vendors came in and swapped out the old dull set of knives with the new, very sharp set....at least one person would do their best to chop a finger off. Without fail...within an hour someone would lay open some skin. Even with warning after warning to be careful.

I worked in kitchens for seven years, and I'm familiar with the adage that a dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp one.  I understand the rationale, which is that a sharp knife will do exactly what you want and expect it to do, while a dull one will slide down the side of the tomato and into the fingers holding it, or whatever.  But that still assumes that the person holding the knife knows what they're doing.  Careless or clumsy people will find ways to cut themselves, and in their hands, sharp knives are definitely more dangerous.

Whenever I pick up a knife, if I'm not sure, I check its edge.  Yes, you can do that with absolutely no chance of cutting yourself, which some people just don't get, including a surprising number of people who've chosen to work in food service..  But I always want to know what I'm working with, especially if it's potentially dangerous.

Anyway, that gif is amazing.  It's hard to imagine a knife that sharp.

It's not just that the knife will slide, but with a dull edge you have to use more force, upping the chances for accidents.

Yep, I forgot that part.  Dull knives and people pushing harder on them to get them to cut are just accidents waiting to happen.

That's pretty cool!  Even if the gears don't really do anything, that still looks sweet having moving parts in there.  Also, I thought when it zoomed in a bit that we'd see that the insides were sealed, but it looks like an open grid.  Whoa.

Two good reasons why I figured there would be like clear plexiglass over it or something.  But it looks like it's an open grid design, which makes it really cool, but yeah, also kinda dangerous.

But danger is part of rock and roll.  :xbones
