Both are great songs, but I don't see this as anything but a no-brainer.  Supper's Ready is the quintessential Genesis song.

Supper's ready is SLIGHTLY better. I actually remember how unimpressed I was by Firth of fifth last time we did this survivor, I have no idea how it grew on me this much over a year or so, it was a very tough choice this time around.

I feel like I'm killing this. I see how Supper's Ready is the quintessential Genesis song, but Firth of Fifth is one of my favourite songs of all time, so I'll have to go with Supper's Ready. I'm sorry.

"Supper's Ready" gets lots of acclaim because it's their big epic, and it's a great song to be sure, but it has a bit of that British whimsy to it and I have to be in the right mood for it.  I prefer "Firth of Fifth".  I can pretty much listen to that song any time.

Dammit!!  :facepalm:  I was going to vote for Firth, but my wife and son are sick (West Nile, believe it or not) and I've been in and out of doctor's appointments for the last few days!  That would've tied it up!  Then someone else with some common sense would also vote for Firth, making Supper's Ready the final Genesis survivor!

That's where you're wrong, Orbert.  We've just proven that due to timing and a "hanging chad" error, the wrong one was elected.  Supper's Ready should've won by 2 votes.

But, what's done is done.  At least we don't have to wait another 4 years to correct this mistake!

But you misunderstand.  Firth of Fifth is the better song and thus should have won, and it did.  People would have voted for the wrong song, and the universe would not allow it.  West Nile is pretty extreme, I know, but this is serious stuff.  Very serious.  You have no idea how serious I am, right now.
