Snowing up North today. 8 inches expected in the far reaches of Minnesota. 1-2 inches for the rest of the Northland. Here at the dorm, it's 45 degrees and overcast. Beautiful day. Considering it was 81 yesterday

In other news, this past weekend, I came to find that cinnamon is a surprisingly EXCELLENT addition to a standard cumin/ground black/red pepper pork rub.  Wow.

Indeed.  I have my standard rub recipe that lonestar forbids me from sharing and I'll be adding cinnamon to it.  I had some ripe serranos and some pork chops and said "how can I combine these?"  Looked around online and found this recipe for cumin crusted pork chops with a peach serrano glaze.  You salt the chops, then generously coat them in a rub of cumin, coriander, black and red pepper, and cinnamon.  Brown them in the pan, then bake to doneness.  The smell in the house while those babies browned was beyond amazing.  Just off the charts awesome.  The recipe is definitely a keeper, all around.

That plus the fact that you can buy beer in less than a year doesn't bode particularly well for the UK.

I'm more fussed about serving than buying, and I'm relatively responsible

Tell me about it, I had to go to court at the age of 20 for getting caught drinking underage :(

I'm proud to be from the last state to eschew that 21 nonsense, Louisiana.

Fine and 10 hours community service.

The most annoying thing was that my fine was written down as $106, but a few years later when I was 23, I was driving down campus when I was arrested because I had a warrant.

I get to the county jail, as I'm changing clothes they tell me what my charge was, I was $14 short on my fine from the drinking underage charge so I had a warrant issued. I also couldn't pay it with my cash or my credit cards, someone had to drive down and pay the $14. It was ridiculous.

Mike Portnoy mentioned DTF in an interview. Not in a positive manner, really, but still mentioned it.

Anyways, good morning

On second viewing, it's not negative, just that it's a website where people criticize him a bit. The whole interview is like an acid trip, MP would agree

On the interview itself, the interviewer was awful in every way possible. I liked Mike responses and I don't think hes comment on DTF was negative at all.
